Well, I have been trying for about a month, and I finally had a semi-lucid dream last night.

I was at Osco Drug (where I work) and I was near the front of the store. It was near the evening because I could see the sunset streaming in the front windows. At that moment, I became aware that I was dreaming. It was a great, but somewhat subtle feeling. I didn't do a reality check or anything. I had just looked at my alarm clock before I fell back asleep, and I just kinda realized that I was still in bed. Although I was lucid, i didnt really seem to have conscious control over my dream self. After realizing I was dreaming, I looked at a package of batteries that I was holding and noticed the details of the cardboard backing (i wanted to see if it was true what ppl said about LDs having great detail). It was in good detail, but the rest of the dream still had that blurry dream-like quality. I then wanted to try flying (like everyone does), but i seemed to quickly loose lucidity. I then went outside, but instead of flying, I climbed the wall like Spiderman, except I only used my hands. Then, once I got to the roof, I lost all lucidity and I cannot remember the rest of the dream (although I am positive that there was more).

It absolutely resparked my intrest in LDing just as I was about to give up
Now, I really have a reason to keep trying
