Bad lucid or a false lucid?

Well last night (my second night of trying to become lucid) I had a dream that I was at a grocery store. I started doing things like I had control, but at the same time I felt that I wasn't even lucid because I didn't notice any dream signs or remembering my self saying "am I dreaming?" and near the end I dream spun hoping I would appear in the place I imagined but instead I ended up in my backyard with a bunch of candy canes then I woke up. So do you think it was just a really bad lucid or just a false lucid (dreaming about being lucid)?

Sometimes this happens to me too. I just have crazy dreams alot. For instance God Powers. I have also had this happen to me when trying to spin. I just ended up in the same place like 6 hours later. Can't tell you though if it was lucid or not. Sure sounds like it though.

That is not a lucid dream. You may have had contorl, but lucidty and controll are two differernt things. Lucidity is clearly the fact that you know you are dreaming and not in the real world. Control is just when you can manipulate the dream environment, to do this one does nto have to be Lucid. Keep working at it and im sure a Lucid dream will come. And if you have any quesitons, feel free to PM me and ill get back to you asap

Yeah that's exactly how I felt. In control but not lucid. (I always thought lucid meant being aware and being able to control)

hehe thats okay. The way we all talk, its very easy to assume that contorl and understanding you're in a dream are the same. But now you know
