      Dragging and Dropping the landscape.

I had the most amazing lucid dream last night. For a while now, I have been wanting to experiment with something someone mentioned once, I believe it was Aneas.

He spoke of altering the dream fabric. For example, instead of moving somewhere, grab the fabric of the dream and pull or move it until the place you wanted to go was in front of you. Kind of like Mohammed and the mountain.

I found myself lucid, standing on the access road in front of a local strip mall. As is the case in all of my high level lucids, the sky was blue, the sun was shining, and it was quite bright. There was also a faint cool breeze blowing.

I took my finger, and with my finger moved the fabric of the dream. Those of you that do photo editting will recognize the concept, you know where you can click on a photo and drag it around within the edit window? It was like that.

I first thought it was cool, pulling the landscape back and forth, I even got amused one time by grabbing it and shaking it up and down rapidly. I had an actual lucid grin and my face and said “cool”.

I then proceeded to build a small brick wall between the access road and the mall parking lot. This time, instead of dragging the entire fabric, I dragged individual items along the fabric and repositioned them. I found pieces of brick wall sitting around, and then did the drag, drop operation to move them into position.

I did this until the wall was completed and then began walking around. Near the entrance to one of the mall shops, I found a woman undressing out on the sidewalk. She was wearing the cutest black and blue lace bustier with garters and stocking under her dress, it was really quite fetching

      I then woke up.

I plan on experiementing with this again soon. The dream fabric I mean, not the lady.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Congrats, Seeker! May you do this much more....
(actually I kind of did something like this when I was 4 years old, but no matter).
Now you have complete control! Do whatever you want....( ) How about making it the Advanced LD task next month?

I've heard of altering the dream fabric...but never drag & drop! I can imagine this is how my mind would do it, too. Reward for being a computer nut, I suppose.

      Rock on, Seeker.
      We break the
      ceiling and grin and gasp
      and redefine life
      for the ones who
      have merely lived it.

when iv tried things like this in the past my dream just turned into a computer screen and then to the unenbodiedment of daydreaming then of course, to waking up

iv only found one way to overcome that temporaraly and thats just to scratch my dream body so i have to stay in it because of the pain
