-Given Up On Lucid Dreaming Indefinitely-
Don't give up but might I suggest 'letting go'? Just do some awareness exercises and reality checks as usual, you could read a LD book or something on the forum a little while before bed if you like but, when it comes time for bed just go to sleep and enjoy a good nights rest all the way through. Take a few days off of the pressing for a LD and just get some sleep. There are good odds on you having a LD during this 'off period'. |

Sounds like you're trying to hard. Lucid dreaming usually comes at times when you're most in tune and not trying so desperately to force it. The longest run Ive had was when I stopped coming to this site. I just relaxed and lived my life, with dreams always being an important part of each and every day. Up until the past few months the longest gap between LD's would be a month. And that would usually be when I had a lot of things on my mind. |

Hey mate. I wouldn't stress too much 4 weeks isn't alot of time compared to how long it has taken some others. How good is your dream recall? WBTB is probably the best technique to try first. I my self find WILD extremely hard. But as someone suggested earlier in the topic reduce the amount of sleep you have 4 hours, get up do something, then go back to bed. Your body won't be restored from 4 hours sleep so you should fall asleep pretty fast. Best suggestion I can give you is just get your recall as good as you can. If you have excellent recall the lucids will come. |
|
My dream recall is extremely good. I have had a DJ since 8 years old! |

Have you experimented with all the techniques? I suggest HILD. |

Why sleep when you can dream?
I got really far using your technique! Thats the best one I have seen yet (for me at least). I had some success and I was getting really close to sleep but I wasn't tired enough. Im going to try it again tonight. |
