Trying to WILD without sleep = OBE?

I did this last night, i didnt have any sleep prior to trying to do a WILD and i got into the vibrations/floating state, but no dream images appeared (most likely because of no sleep). Anyway i was just in that floating state and feeling complete nothingness in my body for what seemed to be about 5-10 mins. So is this an Out Of Body Experience? This took a very long time to do (about an hour before sleep paralysis kicked in).

For those who wanna try it, the trick is to lay completely still in bed for about 30 minutes with your eyes open and not moving any part of your body (so it doesnt disrupt paralysis) and just wait until your eyelids/body feels exhausted of staying still too long. Also make sure your hands/fingers are paralyzed before closing your eyes.

Hey, I know exactly the state you're describing. I've been trying to WILD before I've been to sleep, and I get to that stage where there is no imagery, just total blackness. My body is almost totally numb, and I just lay there wondering what the hell I'm supposed to do next.

Probably a bit different to what would happen if I tried it after some sleep, but I always fall asleep too fast when I try that.

I don't think that what you are describing is an OBE, just an intermediate stage of WILD.
After I lay there for a while, other wierd things started happening, kind of like spinning, but it didn't last because I got too excited.

      Laters!
