      First 1-second LD =D

This night I was in the bathroom of my house (I seem to be there alot in my dreams... it's a very pretty bathroom IRL anway ^__^ ) Then suddenly I saw the sink had some features the bathtub had. So I did an RC. At first I thought I had 5 fingers, then it were 6 all of a sudden.

I knew I was dreaming, and I saw how clear everything was. I could see a tree outside and everything. Problem is, I think I got to exited... I started to feel really really heavy (like 200 pounds heavery lolol). I felt like I would go right through the ground. My arms felt weird to. I think it was becouse I was waking up and my real body the one in my bed was lying in a weird position rather then standing up.

So I woke up =( Better luck next time ^___^

Oh, and I got drunk yesterday, Viva la BOOZE

so was this your first LD or just your first short one? Anyway, gotta remember some stabilizing techniques. Used to be the first thing I would do is practice a stability tech. when I became lucid. Now theyre second nature

which techniques do you favour? i've only had a handful of LD's, and i want to try out some stability techs.

first on my list is the rubbing hands, then spinning. although if you have any that are better in your opinion, i'd like to try them as well..

congratulations neruo. i didn't realize you were still a 'virgin' before this one...

i got too excited my first time as well.

and i would second the opinion that you try out some stability techniques until they become automatic. otherwise you might start getting frustrated and waking up too soon from excitement, or lack of clarity when you do become lucid.

Thx Asher. Yeah I was a virgin. But I consider myself a virgin at LDing still intill I do some cool stuff you know what I mean 8)

And yeah, I really must remeber to like rub my hands when I have another LD... I think I woke up becouse it was like 10am and I had allready woken up but didn't get up.

I did btw said: Clarity times 1000! Or something like that. What I remember is that that technique worked =) Incredible how real everything looked.

To bad I have some major math test tomorrow so I will not really be able to relaxt and WBTB and stuff <=/ But it's allmost christmas: 2 weeks no school ^___^
