Thread: First LD

Had my first LD last night, I was doing a WILD, but at the same time repeating to myself that I would have an LD, or I might've just fallen asleep and gotten lucky. Anyhow, I fell asleep, and found myself cycling around in the city I lived in until 6 months ago, but the vividness of it amazed me! Normally I can barely remember the sensations and such that come with a dream, only the actions and the "storyline". Anyway, I decided to get something to eat, when I came to the discovery that I had no business whatsoever being there, I neither lived there nor had holidays. When I came to that conclusion, I tried to push my finger through my hand. This failed, but it didn't matter, as I was already sure I was dreaming. I cycled on the wrong side of the road (on a pretty busy road no less), but no cars came towards me. I got to the store, but then I decided I'd fly around, so that was what I did. I was able to fly pretty high, but I sort of lost my lucidity in that I just went with the flow of the dream. I needed to take care of a small child I didn't even know, whom I departed from occasionally to fly to the top of a massive building, and beyond. Then everything got a bit fuzzy, but I remember being in that building's elevator with my parents, trying to explain to them that I was dreaming, and I could just as well fly to the top. They didn't seem to mind particularly, so I showed my dad that I was dreaming by moving through the roof of the elevator. He was still uninterested tho . The dream went pretty wacky though, because I didn't keep checking, and nearly forgot I was dreaming. Well, that was my first LD, to many more!
