Thread: First lucid of 2006

Ah, last night I experienced my first lucid of the year - even more excited to have had it in the first month of the year!

Out of all my previous lucids, I believe this one to be one of the most mature of them. Throughout the the time I was lucid, I don't recall ever flying or having sex once! The later has me pissed off (I could use a good lucid F**in) but instead I will be happy for the fact that I was able to keep myself lucid and remember the techniques for extending it (like rubbing my hands). The only thing that bothered me about this LD is that I can't recall exactly how it was I became lucid - dreamsign? reality check? intuition?

I had hoped that my next LD would be one in which I simply just took the time to experience it's environment and not go flying off to some strange land - and last night I did just that. It was WONDERFUL!

The whole night itself was packed with all kinds of dreams - I feel as if I spent the whole night in REM. I can recall at least three different plot lines and each were made up of scenes that were as vivid as lucids, yet I didn't have the awareness required for lucidity. I'd like to have at least one lucid per month this year. I'm psyched to be off to such a start!
