Are sexual dream experiences a taboo on this forum?

Don't want to sound like a pervert, but I never saw a sexual experience mentioned before. I don't mean the gory details, but just outlines. I read in the faq that flying and sex were two of the most enjoyable experiences. What gives?

sex is a very personal thing, and my geuss would be ppl are too embarrassed or simply dont feel the need to share...really its not like sex dreams are full of symbolism or anything like that either, i mean its just a carnal desire being fufilled in our dreams when we arent releasing enough hormones in waking life...also they are pretty often the same...jus sex, so its not even all that interesting unless you go into the 'gory' details, but i dont think that would be all that appropriate

Everyone in this forum is pretty open-minded and mature, not much is shunned away from here. haha, sexual dreams, it depends on what kind of person you are. If you are trying to stay faithful to someone or what not. I think that if you force someoen through lucidity to have sex with you its not cool, but if they consent and agree, go for it. But be honorable, and discaplined.

Good Lowercase used the H word. Honor! If something is dishonorable in waking life, it should be dishonorable in your lucid life. Non-lucid is OK, you are innocent, but in Lucid, you are concious and in control. Make good choices!

Seeker, what if that was a hollowgram (spelling). You know, the Star Trek kind. Would it be OK to act out a fantasy even if it is dishonorale? Wouldn't it be like channelling your desires? Wouldn't be like punching a boxing bag instead of a real person?

Good question moe. For me, it is quite simple. There are certain things I will not do while I am awake, such as: Kill someone for no reason other than my own enjoyment Purposefully injure or be mean to another for my own entertainment Force myself on a my wife Have sex with anyone other than my wife Basically, I have a JudeoChristian ethos to which I subcribe. Do unto others and all that.. If I am in a lucid dream, I am still concious and bound by my ethos, therefore what is wrong to me while awake is also wrong to me while lucid. I fear that many people see lucid dreams, or the Holodeck from star trek as a loophole by which they can get around this. I do not believe in loopholes. But that is just me. My honor binds me. I'm not trying to take the fun out of it for anyone, but it is up to the rest of you to decide if your honor binds you also. Hope I answered your question.

They allow you to shape the world as you want, which to totally cool... but if you think somethings dishonorable, you woulnd't do it in the Lucid Dream, and if you do... you don't really find it dishonerable, do you ?
