      Illusion of Consciousness?

Here’s a weird one. During a non LD I fall asleep knowing that I will LD, which I do. In the original dream I am at my parents house (where I grew up) my sister is a few years younger than she is now, around the age she was when I left home, mum was asking her to set the table as I was falling asleep so in my LD I decide that I will fly out the bed room window and look in the dining room window so that I can compare what I see when I go for dinner. I find that the window is missing and the room inside is bare. I decide to study the details of the house and find many details missing or simplified, some however are rendered in breath taking beauty, for example a pane of cracked glass with sunlight shining through it strikes me as being super-real the colours, depth, reflection etc astonish me I look to the sky and see an incredible sunset. Flying around the garden I encounter a problem I often have in dream flight, in and out of LD, which is I can gain altitude rapidly but loosing requires either intense concentration or distraction, in the latter case I slowly drift downwards as long as I remain focussed else where. This motivates me to go for some flying practice in the woods to the back of my parents house. This proves problematic as I keep getting caught in the branches and having to drop out of them, occasionally my faith that I am dreaming is less than perfect, making this a scary prospect. Presently I wake up in the bedroom of my parents house where I record my dream in a book that I am writing for publication and use my watch to log on to the internet, where I discover that all LD’s are actually nightmare’s. All this time the fact that I have woken up as a girl doesn’t raise any suspicions at all. A sense of nightmare begins to intrude. I awaken and perform multiple reality checks. The sense of nightmare lingers for a few minutes. I log on to the internet (using a computer this time) and post this.
I log off and wake up again to discover earth, humans, LD, reality checks, and computers were all figments of my subconscious mind. I stop eating cheese.

Don't worry, you'll be fine then.
      A dream
