Every single time i have the opportunity to become lucid i become lucid but when i want to do something cool like walk into a wall or fly i cant . In this one dream i had i was in my room and was like, " Hey im dreaming!" so i tried to make a can of soda appear on my bed but it wouldnt and i got so pissed. I truly believed that it was going to appear but it never did and as for the wall thing well i tried running into it but ended up hitting my forehead in my dreambody and it hurt |

If practice makes perfect and nobody is perfect then why practice?

"There are two types of people in this world, people who think there are two types of people, and people who don't."
It is all about your concentration. With out focus your intentions will do you no good. Just think of what you want and think reeeeal hard. If that doesn't work then try some beggining exercises, I'm sure there are plenty here in the forums. |

Try this. When you find you're lucid in a dream rather than attempt something that's out of the context of the dream try to go with the theme and DCs that are already there. If you want to fly or make something appear start a conversation with one of the DCs. Ask for their advice about how to get to what you want to do. Also look for a reason for what you want to do. For example if you feel threatened by a DC then you would have a reason to "fly" away or turn a DC into a can of Pepsi or a "hot guy". Good luck. |

back when i had throuble making DCs appear I would walk around and yell their names at the top of my lungs, this never failed me, they would either magically appear of would say "what" right behind me.... |

.
Maybe try completely stabilizing yourself more first. Get yourself to calm down, become fully lucid, then try again. Some people look at their hands or do different things to stabilize the dream. Once you feel calm enough to proceed, try controling a small portion of the dream. Starting out trying to do too much can backfire. |
