      Chalk Up 2 More.....

      Today is March 22nd 2006...From Feb 22nd to March 22nd--1 month--i had 9 LD's--my most ever in a month...

Now i will need a little explination for one of my LD's because it has happened to me twice now.

      [ 36th LD]

I had woken up--just like my 34th LD--and I felt like my arms were alseep and i could barely move them--u know how in actual life your arms are asleep and you slowly move them toward you and you feel like they are a few inches away from you but you actually end up hitting yourself--that's how it was in this LD and my 34th LD....So I plugged my nose and realized i was dreaming by breathing through it..So i somehow slowly got up out of bed...and walked toward the door--then BOOM...I ended up back in bed...I plugged my nose and i realized i was dreaming again..So i slowly got up--and through this whole time my vision was like blurry as hell--I decided to dream spin to see if i could go somewhere, and i felt my hand litteraly hit the bed i sleep in at the half way house..and that kinda distracted me and i just ended up spinning to being actually awake...

Now this has happened twice..2 LD's apart..I'm wondering is, why does it happen...Why do i end up in my bed, feeling like i have SP in a dream, and i find myself barely moving-actually struggling to move??

      [ 37th LD ]

It happened in the middle of the night--I had taken 3 Vitamin B6 pills-which for me actually messes up my dream recall--i usually take 2---anywhos...I was downstairs at what was suppose to be my new house in Raliegh N.C. where me and my dad are going to move to at the end of may...And i saw a small pool table and i reailzed i was dreaming--plugged my nose to do an RC, and i saw someone on these steps but it only last for a few seconds then it ended...

I know that my 37th LD didn't haev much control because i had taken more B6 then i usually do, so i think i'll cut back to the normal 2...

Anywayz, i hope someone can help me out on my 36th LD questions, because its weird how it happens..

I've also gained more ability to have more LD's a month, which is awesome i now have a few a week, which is nice..

      thanks

Hey Spirit of the Wolf, congrats on the LDs. It sounds like you are still finding the right balance between being alert enough to be lucid, and being relaxed enough to remain in the dream.

When you end up back in bed, that's a false awakening. As to why it happens, my theory is that the lucid part of you has fallen back in to sleep. Need to spend a bit of time consolidating the lucidity before going on to more actions.

Its also possible that there are physiological reasons. Some have suggested that rem cycles have a certain fixed duration, and if you become lucid near the end of the REM cycle, you can't do much to stay lucid.
