Wink Example of how deep/amazing LDs can be

i've been on a dry spell for about a few years now - maybe once a month but passively - stress, etc., but now i'm back into my love of LDs. The following is the most amazing thing i felt while in a lucid dream a few years ago...

there was a time when i would have a bunch of dreams with water - usually this was my dream sign - eventually - and that if i could breath underwater that i was asleep - at this time my lucidity was amazing - especially the fact that i 'proved' - in a way that we dream with others who we see everyday - or people across the globe - i could also at times feel my body in bed and my breathing while in open area and standing within a dream scene.

Some of you who have had practice with meditation might be absolutely astonded by this - or if you have practiced deep breathing to calm down. - In the middle of the dream underwater - where i could breath and in real life i have to plug my nose, but in my dreams breathing underwater is my ultimate escape among other things. But in this dream i was breathing underwater - but i was also feeling my body in bed at the same time - while breathing i remembered that the body slows down alot while asleep (breathing, heartbeat, etc.) but HERE's THE AMAZING PART:

i almost scared myself because my body i felt in bed was still on one cycle after what seemed eternity (either breathing in or out - even both) my body was breathing so slow i thought i was dying - i didn't think that was normal - but at the same time it was like no other mindless state or relaxing state or anything i've ever felt before - it was the most peaceful thing i had ever felt. it was as if it took about 15seconds for each in or out breath! that's how peaceful and relaxed i was

      P.S.
by no means is this to discourage you that you haven't reached this state yet - but that it can only get better and that anything is possible
"What if I were to tell u that you can take control...of all of this? Look at all these people. Seems as though they're just all chatting away? Nothing to do with u. And yet., maybe they're only here because u wanted them to. U are their god. U can make them obey u or even destroy u."

      Common

Have you ever listened to somone sleep? They breath in for like 8 seconds then breath out for like 8 more. Its really slow. also you could have just been dreaming you were awake, this happens to people so much they dont even realise it. Usually you dont remember.

Lucid dreaming is such a tauntingly simple thing to attain...

      Yeah,

That's amazing! One thing I need to really practice is my relaxation and breathing techniques!

When I get into deep relaxation, I take a moderate breath about once a minute. I had someone time me once, and I went for one minute and fifty seconds between a complete exhalation and the next inhalation! Strangely enough, though I really needed to breathe in at that point, I wasn't panting afterwards. I was still completely relaxed and breathing normaly.

I love breathing under water in my dreams, but I never catch it as a dream sign! I find my self breathing the water and I think "Aha! I can breathe under water!" It's surprisingly tranquil and refreshing. Of course, that's the same thing people say about actually drowning...
