      Famous People in Dreams

On Tuesday I saw an episode of Scrubs where one guy sang part of a song by Neil Diamond. He said something like "going to America", and sounded pretty good.

Last night I had a dream where I was watching Neil Diamond sitting on a stage with a guitar and singing a song I had never heard before. My mind was creating the words impromptu while he played and sang them. It actually came together very well, and I'm surprised at how quickly I created words. The only line I remember was something about going to the penthouse. It was a comforting song and nothing bad was implied in it that I could sense at all.

That made me lucid for some reason. Even extreme things don't tend to make me lucid, but it's more the simple things.

Anyone else here have experiences with famous people that made them lucid?

Do fictional characters count? I had four dreams about Jun Kazama in Tekken 2 (three outside the game, one inside the game as a character) once. The funny thing was that Jun did something to Jack-2's hand so he picked Jun up by the chest and slammed her to the ground. In those dreams, every time Jun is hit and sent crashing on the ground, she lets out this silly death scream that's actually heard in the game when she gets KO'd.

And then in fall of 2005 I dreamt of Bam Margera 3 times. After failing to get over Shannon's death on Lost, I dreamt of West Chester, Pennsylvania, but Bam Margera was not there. I didn't see him until I went back to West Chester in another dream I had, riding a shuttle through the city. He was four rows away from me, but the shuttle was crowded, and it was at night. The third time I was in Hollywood directing a film and suddenly out of nowhere, he shows up.

(BTW: I seem to be having a bit of bad luck explaining Bam Margera on forums. Nine times out of ten I will be asked who he is.)

Oh, and I've dreamed of former WWE star Jeff Hardy many times since three years ago. I can't remember now, but they were pretty weird, if you ask me.

And then last week, I got an unexpected visit from Lillix guitarist/vocalist Tasha-Ray Evin, but she was dressed more like a skater punk (BTW: A skater punk is a teenager who wears baggy clothes and skateboarding shoes, as well as wrist accessories (sometimes). Teenaged girls are also known to pull this fashion off as well). And this was coming out of a movie theater! I remember twice when I had this situation in various parts of North Carolina movie theaters--one walking out of a movie theater and one going to the bathroom.

That wasn't the last time I dreamt of famous Canadian people (BTW: she was born in 1985, if that's what you're asking.) Before Tasha-Ray, I actually dreamt of two actresses from the same country: Rachel McAdams (Mean Girls, Red Eye) and, of course, Alexz Johnson (Instant Star), though I had no idea what they were trying to tell me, and I dreamt of Rachel McAdams four times this year.

(BTW: I didn't write this post to insult skaters or goths on this board. In fact, this post was made just to explain famous people in my dreams--though I doubt everyone knows who Tasha-Ray Evin is, though... )

I'm not sure famous means anything really. Three nights ago I had a dream that involved Conan O'Brien, Uncle Frank and Guillermo (security guards for the Jimmy Kimmel Show) and also John Krasinski (Jim Halpert on The Office).

Oh and I should not really post here since I tend to stay away from lucid dreams, i.e. I cannot answer that question. If I think back, I could probably remember when a celebrity made me lucid, but I would have to search my dream journal.
