      all i do is fly

So my big reality check that i do is that i will try to fly, just jump up in the air like superman and fly. My only problem is that once im in the air i cant get down...i try stablizing the dream by looking at my hands and it works...but it doesnt get me down. I would love to have a lucid dream by just walking around on the ground. I am gaining a little bit of control when i fly as in where i want to go, in the air, but not enough...,..any tips?

      Just imagine yourself landing.

      Adapt a different reality check.

There are many metaphysical things that you can do to find out whether or not you're dreaming. Try levitating something with your mind. Try changing something. Try making the sun/moon rise/set with your mind. Just adapt something that you can't normally do in waking life that is a lot easier to "undo" than flying.
Flying and landing effectively, to me, are two of the hardest things to master simultaneously. If you're just looking for something to do to "tell if you're dreaming or not," I'd suggest something a little less complex.
But, that is if you want to take the easy way out.
Mister Bubbles has the right idea, though. If you simply want to get flying/landing down pat, just imagine yourself landing. Don't worry about how hard it might be. Don't worry about "Now how am I going to do this?" Just look down at a spot on the ground and say to yourself. "Ok, I'm going to go down there, now," and visualize yourself doing it.

Here's another thread about flying and landing that may help answer your question.

Nice job! I'd fly n all my dreams if I could. It's such a feeling of exhileration and freedom.

LOL I love your flying smiley.
I have specifically dove at the ground and then pulled myself up at the last second many times, in many dreams. It's funny that you should mention that.

Hahaha, if one has trouble with landing, so be it! Just crash into the ground and hope that your dreamscape doesn't shatter! Now that's using your head ;p
