Definitely. I have many dreams where I'm in complete control of myself and my actions, in real time, but I have absolutely no awareness that I'm dreaming, even if I'm doing metaphysical stuff. |

I've got a question about being lucid...
Yeah, is it possible to have some dream control, but not actually be aware of lucidity. I know that there are levels of being lucid, but that scale varies only on dream control, I think. I had a dream last night where I basically forced an OBE, but I wasn't lucid in the tiniest bit. If it's not, maybe it just felt like I forced it and was actually part of the dream.

I fly in almost every dream, and I've been really lucid very few times (I remember only the last one, and I do not even remember how I became lucid).
It's like the unconscious tells me what to do, but I decide how to do it; I usually do somethig metaphysical, flying to get anywhere for example; flying is cool, sure, but if I was lucid I would do a lot more interesting things
and anyawy I usually limit myself to fly to the place I want to reach without doing anything else (and I'd love to fly in a cool way, I almost did it tonight but I instantly woke up during the first loop... too excited for being lucid)
Anyway, I (almost) always miss that I'm dreaming.

Lucid dreaming is merely dreaming with the knowledge that one is dreaming. A more complete discussion on this and dream scales are within this topic.

LunarMoon, I think that may have been pointless...
Anyway, last night I had a dream. In my dream I was trying to become lucid in a dream, and I don't have a clue why I didn't realise I was already dreaming....I'm your dream, mind astray. I'm your eyes while your away.
