With the title I can get to the point.
I am not certain this is what would be classified as a "lucid dream"; for me however this dream is the most lucidity I might have had.
I had the dream a few weeks ago, it is the most prominent in my memory of recent dreams.
It's as my only other dream posted here, a very short dream. But none the less, very significant for me.
The dream perhaps ends this way, from a same dream I might not remember untill this point? I am staring into a mirror, I can only see eyelids at first, and I force them open. At this point I do not quite realize it is a dream I think though I am staring into a reflection with my eyes shut.. However my eyes are very old, at first I do not even realize it is me. When I finally manage to get the slightest cracks of my eyes open I am able to gaze deep into my own eyes. My eyes widen very quickly with my focus on the pupils, I then start to see the rest of my face, seemingly pale, and very aged, for I am but a lad now(in "reality"), and in the dream I am perhaps hundreds of years old, to me I resemble the Emporer from star wars. I quickly come to sorts that this is not my usually percieved reality and figure it must be a dream, and I stare deeper into my eyes, and my age hastely reverses.
--Lights on, I wake up.--
I have gone through dream symbols for mirrors and eyes and aging and such, but I like outside opinion I suppose. Not to mention, the simple symbolic relavencies didn't give me much for what I was looking for.
What is also intersting to me about the dream, is that the only tangible presence lies within me, the mirror, and my reflection, everything else is either not there, or far to out of focus for me to be able to recognize what if anything the space around me contains.
