This is strange thing indeed. I've encountered this phenomenon at least 3 times. It's like a dream, but you are aware of you lying on the bed and there is no WILD sensations or anything....
It's like a very clear and semi lucid daydream or something close...

In my last dream of this type I became fully lucid and was able to change some things, but I had very limited control and summoning tricks failed...

PS: In the past 3 days I found myself seeing "movie like" scenes before I'm fallingasleep. I set my thoughts aside and dont think of anything, just this scene and it seems so damn real... But at some moment my awareness returns and I'm losing concentration... and scene disappears...
I have no control over scene, but I guess it can be great help when trying WILD...

But to be lucid you have to be AWARE that you are, in fact, dreaming.
So did you know for sure you were dreaming...
i think this could be considered a WILD without the lucid part...?

      I don't think it was a WILD.
      Are you ready
      for the nightmare?

I did it again. This time I could walk in dream inviroment and perceive everything. I spoke to dream character. But it wasnt WILD.
Through out all experience I was very aware of me "dreaming" and I expected it to end soon and enter WILD....

I had absolutely no power, and dream seemed like reality...

It has happened to me too....

I start making up stories in my head, and suddenly, without consciously trying, I just continue them or I am inserted into them. You have knowledge that it is a day dream or fantasy, yet some stuff feels real. I am not lucid, just like a spectator or actor in my own script.....
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...
