Thread: Crazy LD. (New method?)

What was crazy about this dream - It wasnt WILD. It wasnt MILD.
I entered dreamlike state directly from being awake, but there was no transition phase.
I just "zoomed" into my thoughts...

I've encountered this thing before, but I never was that aware.
Bad thing is - in these dreams you have no power... but they are easier to achieve then WILDs...

Whoa. Sounds kinda like an astral plane (maybe). Either that or it was a nightmare.

aaaaah.. Ev so you had no powers but you were awake while dreaming. Is that not still fun and exciting. THe next time this happens, try to focus on the items in your read (ie red lamp) and try to decode the messages that you are receiving. They are a gift in itself!!!

Wow Ev. That is pretty deep. I cannot relate. Did you feel unsetted when you woke up because of the lack of control?
I do have to agree with blissful, speaking for my self at least, I think I overlook a lot of signs in my dream by putting to much emphasis on gaining control rather than letting the dream role play out around my Lucid eyes.

It wasnt a nightmare, but it wasnt pleasant either...
very very weird sensation...

An update.
When I went to sleep, radiator in my room was turned off, as a result, it was very cold.
I was laying below 3 blankets in a fetal position.

when I woke up, radiator was turned on... I asked people who could turn it on, but they didnt...

I dont know how I turned it on... cause I dont remember anything...

Directly into dream state? That sounds awesome. I would love to be able to do that.

About the cold sleeping conditions. I probably can't replicate that then cause of the high temperatures where I live. And my parents would probably freak if I burn out the AC.

Ev - with as much activity you have going on with your dream realm, have you ever considered video taping yourself while your sleeping? I thought of this before to maybe try and find out when I go into REM.
I would especially find it intrigueing for sleep walkers, OBE's, & peaple who turn on their heaters

Normally(all 3 times heh) when I try WILD and they work there is no transition phase. I fall asleep at some point and wake up right as I enter the dream. So to me it appears like I am basicly laying there when out of no where images come up for about 3 seconds and then I am in a dream. I never feel or see anything else because I basicly sleep through all the stages,

Also would explain why you don't have super powers. If you fall asleep and wake up before you enter the dream it would make sense that your not as aware.

I wanted to videotape me when I learned that I talk in sleep...
but there are some technical difficulties

Most of the times when this happens to me I loose consciousness in the process, or if I slept the 6 hours and woke up for 30 before trying to WILD, then I know it is a story of my creation and I try to make it go away, so it won't interfere with my attempt to WILD.

Weird thing is that when I actually play along with them, I get the feeling that I was actually getting deeper inside, closer to the dream world and progressing in my WILD attempt.

Its pretty weird....

Hey Ev, by any chance were you already in sleep paralysis when this happened?

If you were, you probably would NOT have experienced and of the entering WILD sensations.

But to be in sleep paralysis, I have to enter it first...
And I was widely aware of me laying in bed. Then some picture popped up and changed without my effort. I concentrated on it and *pop* I'm in this dreamlike state...

Problem with this thing is: you are not in a full dream. I've had it before and it ends in me entering WILD. I'm actually "awakened" by feelings that come on my body, such as dream paralysis, trembling and HI with HS...

What do you mean technical diffiiculties? (Your Date found the hidden camera JK!
If you also talk in your sleep that would be interesting waht you were saying.
I have been in a lucid dream before, and this is exactly what I said in the dream (Hey Jack, my neighbor, I am in a lucid dream) - then my girlfriend woke me up because she believed I was having a nightmare. She said it sounded like I was getting mauled by a bear. Wierd Ah?

technical difficulties like - how will I watch the tape which will be almost pitch black with my rolling on my bed. And it will be like 2-4 hours long...

Still that is better than most shows out there....
