just call out their name and tell yourself "When i call out their name they will appear behind me" and shout their name "NAME you will appear behind me!" turn around and they more then likely will be there...Cuz everytime ive tried to summon someone in a dream they mostly appear behind me

hope it helps

I think he means how can he share a dream, wolf! It's something I haven't experienced myself, but going by other accounts, it only seems to happen by chance! Try going looking for the friend

I disagree, I think he means summoning a dream character that's exactly like his friend.

What I do (or have done once and it worked) is say out loud, "When I walk through this door <name of person> will be on the other side waiting for me."

They always look exactly like they do in real life for me, too, so I don't know otherwise.

However, if wolfie is right and you do want to share a dream then there's a ton of research you'll have to prior to that, it's no simple task.

Everything works out in the end, sometimes even badly.

Yeah dude, I normally just find a door and KNOW that the person I want to summon is on the other side. Once I open the door, the person is standing there smiling, looking exactly like I pictured them.

That technique has never worked for me in the 3 times I have been able to try it. Of course, I am calling for my favorite character who I tend to only see just vaguely. I have heard calling them on a celphone is supposed to work. I was going to try it once but my dog woke me up.

Thanx a lot

I'm sorry my English isn't very good.
Yes you are right. I mean not to share a dream but just make them appear in my dream, Thanx for your idea but i've tried to call my frined but when she appear not same with I see in reality world. By the way, maybe the reason is our brain cannot remember them so detail then when we call them, they are not exactly in reality world. Am I right, but I want to see them like I've saw in reality. Thanx a lot for your support. Next time when I have LD I'ill practice your advice

I've had the same problem of trying to get friends to appear in my dream. I've even had a lucid dream where the whole time I was trying to make them appear. They'd appear for a short time and then be gone again.

All I can say is to keep at it, at first I couldn't make them appear at all, but slowly it seemed to get better. I still haven't managed to get someone to appear for a long enough time, but I haven't been able to try for a while.

Hopefully if you keep trying, you should improve, try different methods. I've read to try the following:

- Call them, scream for them believing and knowing that they will come
- Ring them on the phone
- Just go to their house if you know where they live (i think you might even be able to try going to somewhere where you usually see them if you don't know where they live)

Hopefully that helps!

Thee would be an element beyodnd your control because the other person would have to be asleep for a shared dream, but I don't think there would be any way to test whether they are asleep. SO there is no way to tell the differetce between a time when it is impossible and an actual failure. If you allow for the possibility that they might not come, they might not even if asleep... otherwise, you'll have no option but to get a dream character if they are awake.

Also, I don't think you would be able to get a shared dream unless you made your dream the same as the other person's - you can' share a dream when you're dreaming about two different things. Perhaps you should give the other person control of the dream? It makes sense to me that spinning and deciding to go to the other person might work, but have unpredictable results if the other person is awake. Unpredictable is still harmless though, except for some frustration.
Ten years without a dream, now starting almost from scratch.

We're messing with our bodies on a very low level here - can we break them? What will it take to hurt ourselves?

A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.

I don't know much about shared dreams, but there were these japanese twins, one was going to colledge in canada, the other england. And every night they met over the pacific ocean.

Anyway, the summoning i think has been cover well enough.

I have trouble summoning chars but I can easily morph objects in dreams. I'm going to try pick out a pre exisiting dream character and morph it into the person I want to summon.
