I was just thinking of something, when you WILD, is it important to do it when you have slept for like 4 hours or so, and then wake up to WILD. Or can you do it just before you go to bed, maybe it doesn't matter?

Just wanted to get this question cleared, since myself I'm trying to WILD when I'm of to bed at night.

The best time to WILD is after 5+ hours of sleep. People have WILDed when first going to bed, but it is mush more common to do it later.

When you first go to bed, your brian quickly falls into delta sleep, which is the deepest sleep in which few dreams occur. You then cycle through the night from Delta to REM and back again a few times. As you do so, your delta periods become much shorter and the REM periods much more frequent and longer.

By early morning, you are in an almost continuous stretch of REM, which is where most of your dreaming occurs. When you WILD at this time, you are MUCH more likely to enter into a dream instead of just falling into a deep sleep.

Some people have had pretty good luck trying WILD during an afternoon nap.

      Good Luck!

Hmm.. But after you've slept lets say 5 hours, then wake up again, stay up for like 30 mins and then go to bed again n' try to WILD. Doesn't the whole Sleeping process start over again I mean entering a Delta sleep?

or does the body require these 8 hours of sleep before it starts over to Delta sleep, or how does it work? ( Just Curious )

      Thanks for the reply tho!

I find the best time to try a WILD is when you're feeling tired. The only thing to remember when attempting a WILD is to remain conscious. So when you're tired u fall asleep easily and it takes less time to enter the dream state. Just make sure u remain conscious. I think the reason it might work better after hours of sleep is because we feel tired after waking up. Good luck!
