I had a lucid dream last night... and then had a false awakening right after it in which I realized I was in the midst of a FA.

Would that count as one or two lucid dreams? Just wondering. It's the first time that's happened to me.

I usually count them as two, when that happens. It's hard to tell, though. If I lose all knowledge that I'm dreaming, enter a completely different dream and then re-realize I'm dreaming, then I'll count that as two lucid dreams. If I'm lucid, forget I'm dreaming, and then regain lucidity in what I can only tell is the same dream scenario, then I'll only count it as one.

Thanks. I was thinking of counting it as two also but just wanted others' opinions on it.

I like your way of dealing with this and similar LD's
      I'll adopt your way.

I usually call it just one lucid dream.

Seems more like one lucid dream to me. If you had waken up between them, then I think it would be two.

I usually say if I wake up in between it's two, if I have a FA it's one.

In a scenario like that one, I will count it as one LD. But if I have a LD, then a regular dream and then an LD again, I will count it as two LDs.
