I had another lucid dream last night. I was in my back yard and thought to myself "What am I doing in my back yard? I thought I was in bed asleep." Then it hit me. I'm dreaming. I didn't bother doing an RC (as I have been during the day), because I was so sure that I was dreaming. I walked up the alley behind my house and all of my neighbors now had chain-linked fences in their back yards. Inside the fences were dogs and giant chickens. I kept rubbing my hands together to increase the realness and it did seem to work. Like the last LD I had, I haven't written in my journal in a few days and wasn't using any of the *ILD techniques. I just suddenly realize that I'm dreaming. I did pray that I would recall a vivid dream (preferably a lucid one) before I went to sleep. I guess it wasn't that boring after all. It was definitely good practice in staying lucid. The whole thing seemed to have lasted a couple of minutes before I woke up in my bed.

Congrats . Even if it was boring, it doesn't matter really. Boring lucid dream is better than no lucid dream, right?

When you start having ones as a result of remembering, it's a good sign you're doing well, and will soon be having them almost as often as you'd like
