That happens to me a lot.... going from one dream to another and realizing I'm dreaming in the second one... I think maybe a sudden change of scenery sparks my "am I dreaming" response.... but I always wake up right after.... |

I moved from one dream to the next and in the latter, I realized I was dreaming. |

When I'm at the pearly gates, this'll be on my videotape. Mephistopheles is just beneath, and he's reaching up to grab me. This is one for the good days, and I have it all here in red, blue, green... You are my center when I spin away, out of control on videotape. This is my way of saying goodbye because I can't do it face to face, I'm talking to you before... No matter what happens now I shouldn't be afraid because i know today has been the most perfect day I've ever seen.

Brrrrr... Wisconsin Sucks
Its really useful and cool for that to happen and you seemed to have a lot of control over it too as you managed to change the appearence of the "dog." |

A: There's no more chance of having a scary LD than having a scary regular dream. In fact, there's really less chance, because once you realize you are dreaming you should also realize that nothing can hurt you. Not sure what you mean by"Dreams can really f**k people up bad" -- they really can't; they're just dreams. |

Mynd you, møøse bites Kan be pretty nasti...
Yup it's always better to keep it positive. I agree with TygrHawk nothing in the dream can ever harm you on any level. Keep the mind positive because you can easily manifest thoughts to the dream. One thing is for sure I never heard of someone being messed up from a Lucid Dream. I've had tons of Lucid Dreams since I was a kid and some may have been a little scary but it's not all that scary when you understand the scenerio based upon that LD. Keep in mind a lot of times the Subconcious tries to continue the control over the dream content while you are LDing, and sometimes the information we see from it within our concious mind is distorted and incomprehenisble so it comes across absurbed but nothing to ever be afraid of. It's just illogical by what we base our reality on during our waking life. |

I see what you mean in the first sentence. But I'm not afraid of being hurt physically, I'm afraid of seeing something horrifying - something that only I would find horrifying. That's what I mean by dreams messing people up. It's almost like going crazy when I have bad dreams, lucid or not. I get paranoid and I become afraid to be alone. |

oh man..dont be afraid! freaky stuff happens a lot in lucid dreams, and your right. Its not a fear of getting hurt in a lucid dream is it? Its a fear of freaky and down right evil and nasty! When you are afraid and lucid, your control is going to SUCK. And transforming a freakish situation into a happy one will not always work, making the lucid dreamer even more afraid of the dream and in even less control. I should know, its happened to me. |

Yeah... finally someone seems to get what I'm talking about. xP |
