To read on is to read experiences I've had. Try and put yourself in my shoes, for the feelings were quite real. I don't really expect anyone to read this post, but hell it's fun to write it out anyway.

I will start with my first after joining DV, and perchance more later.

LD 01: I awoke in my bed, glancing around my room which was far from abnormal. It was dawn, and I had school to prepare for. As I walked into my warmly carpeted living room, I gleamed out the window at the 2.5 acres of grass before the road. The sky was a beautiful array of colors, from yellow and white to indigo. As I continued into the kitchen, I realized there was a white hallway stemming from the wall that wasn't supposed to be there!

I walked in, and as I glanced closely at the dusty floors and the 90 degree turn right ahead, it came upon me. It was like a surge of power exuded from my body. I was dreaming! I raced through the rest of the hall and out a door, into the spacious fields of my backyard.

My field was as anomalous as the hallway. There was a building that wasn't supposed to be there (Looking to be made from the same material as my school.) and people playing games! I ran up with euphoria and enthusiasm, catching one of my better friends and telling him "You're not real!"

He blew me off so I went jumping around, the wind against my face rising my spirits. Thinking of my weeks of training from Dream Views, I decide I want to take something out of the experience. So I then become a "Dream detective." and enter the building, looking at the objects and other things inside.

It was but springs and such, though one thing stood out. It was a picture laying on the ground, a crude picture as if from a child. My memory opened up and I realized-- I drew this! I hadn't remembered until then but I had!

Leaving the building a girl randomly decides to throw a grenade at me. I pick it up and throw it back. (I think she blows up haha.) I return inside the house, finding my brother inside. I tell him he's in my dream and he isn't real. He simply smiles and points to the front door.

"Hey, if you go through that door you'll wake up."

I was skeptical of this, so I walked over and opened the door. I passed the threshold and.....

.....I woke up. It was a school morning, and I had to get ready-- only in the real and boring world. I will never forget this experience...

That sounds like a really good first LD, don't most people's first only last for a few seconds?

Thanks for the responses guys, it's nice to have acknowledgement for such otherworldly experiences. Don't feel obligated to keep reading though, but I am going to throw a few more out. These are not in order, just listing the ones that stick out more.

LD 02: I was at this beach, the water was a crystal blue, the sands a vibrant yellow, warm to the touch. The air was refreshing, carrying the joyful voices of many people. I became lucid fairly quickly (deciding lucidity was "More fun" in the dream), and decided (As I had done one or two times successfully before) I wanted to fly. This time, however, I was set on flying to SPACE!

So I darted up through the sky, over the sands and waters and below the beautiful atmosphere. Also there was a city shown on the other side of the ocean. As I continued poles began to appear throughout the sky. Oddly finding it harder to fly, I began to do gymnastics on the poles and jump from one to the other.

Realizing all the more I could do anything, I attempted an OBE (Out of body experience.) The world gave way and I "lifted" out of my body. I was sudden on a bed, but it wasn't my bed. It was a small room with dirty yellow wallpaper, carpet and furniture. There were two girls there eating. I tried to talk with them, touch them, and so forth, but it was as if I was a ghost! (I suppose that is what an OBE is supposed to do but... no, it couldn't have been a real place.) The two girls kissed each other before I woke up in my dad's bed.

Dad's bed? But-- no this is a false awakening! I even had an eye patch on. I remembered I had a painful eye before going to sleep, rationalizing that dad must have put it on once noticing. I thought it through though and gained lucidity once more. In short, I decided to wake up and I jerked my physical body. I left the dream.

LD 03: I was oddly mean and savage in this one. My mom was driving me home in her black station wagon. The road was long, yet most of the houses were lit. It hits me, I'm dreaming! I cut a hole through the top of the car and yell

      "All the training paid off!"

I jumped off and attempted flight, but I failed. (Yes this dream was earlier than LD 02).I caught sight of a police man and brutally stabbed him! I then saw my brother and grandma. We walked into this theatre and I said "You know we're dreaming, right?" My brother simply smiled.

Inside I again acted on impulse and pounced on a woman. As she got up I kissed her. She was a blond I decided I had little attraction to. The two of us left to find a 'lone bedrooom,' running into more of her friends at an elevator. As we rose I leaned back with the women talking, chuckling.

"In here, this is my world!"

Once we got there I realized I had absolutely no attraction to the blond. So I decide to fly through some walls to get away. I hear a voice and follow it. It's my old teacher in a classroom (With a bed in it) wanting me to read some gibberish. I fly off and wake up

LD 04: This may have been an accidental WILD, as I remember diving right into it from sleep. I was the lead singer in the band Incubus, singing the song "Crow left of the murder." (I knew I was in a dream from the start) The song played perfectly in my head, and as it got to the climax the crowd roared and I stormed my hand up. The euphoria felt here is just not describable by words.

I then began thinking "Man I hope my mom doesn’t wake me from this." And I start getting paranoid, trying to stay within my little concert. But before long I realized my eyes were open and I was looking at my room. I jerked to consciousness.

Well, that's enough for now, aye?

Nice report, GA I like your writing-style.

You have some pretty cool LDs - I was hoping you could tell me what flying lucid through space was like, but it doesn't sound like you made it all the way there - guess I'll just have to keep trying myself.

Wow, very nice, seems very enjoyable. I wish my LD's would last longer than... 5 - 30 seconds...
      Sure, why not?
