      talking in dreams

have any of you had a dream (not necessarily lucid, but a dream) where some word meant something else?

      For example:
I once had a dream where i was hanging out with big bird in my friend's bedroom playing chess or something, then there was a huge BANG BANG BANG on the wall. Big Bird and I looked at each other and said "whoa, did you hear the bingo of that noise?"

i know this sounds weird, but for some reason, i knew that the word "bingo" meant the size "did you hear the size of that noise" it is a completely random word, and i dont know what the point of that was, but im just wondering if anything like that happens to anybody else

also, has anybody ever woken up while talking in their sleep?

      For example:
I once had a dream where i shrunk and was hanging out in my swimming pool with my tiny friends, and i was just about to mention surfing on pepperonis, and i said "hey, we are so small we can go surfing on a..." then i woke up while saying "pepperoni"

      silly stuff!

hrm. Well, since they are our dreams--conjured within the confines of our own minds--it makes sense that we should ultimately be the best at interpreting them and understanding them. (Sometimes we just need a little help.) Anyway, I can't say I've ever swapped around the meanings of words in my dreams.

ha! i've done both. i don't remember a particular time where a word was swapped, but i remember waking up to finish a sentence...

i was having a dream in which a guy i had a crush on from some show (was quite awhile back) was asking "who wants to go out with me?" i was too shy to ask, but my little sister who was about (8 or 9?) at the time just ran right up to him and he was like, "sure, i'll go out with you." i said, "but" (then i woke up and said) "she's only in the 3rd grade!"

nice avy Tim, that movie owns! m/
