Immediately after waking up, I went back to sleep. RIGHT AWAY I entered a dream. There was no break in consciousness, and I was lucid right off the bat. Is this WILD? If so, why was there no waiting period at all? How was it possible that I could enter a dream so quickly?? As soon as my eyelids were closed I was in a dream. The reason I'm asking is because I'd sure like to be able to do this EVERY night. It would save a lot of time relaxing in the WILD stages.

2 possibilities I can think of now:
1) There was was a waiting period. It is just that you did not intend to observe it, so your awareness came to you only when you were in the lucid dream.
2) There could have been a waiting period if you wanted. The waiting period didn't exist or was over very quickly because your mind just moved very fast into the lucid dream.

I am not sure if I have ever entered a lucid dream without a waiting period before. I do remember that I have entered a non-lucid dream without a waiting period before (or a short one at most).

I have entered either a lucid dream or false Out-of-body before from closing my eyes to sleep without a break in consciousness (my consciousness could perceive some time passing before the lucid or fake Out-of-body experience occurred though).
