      Jealousy rules the day

I was talking to my friend (who happens to be a guy I like a WHOLE lot) about dreaming, and told him that I loved having flying dreams. He said he liked flying dreams, too, and I wondered if he knew what lucid dreaming was. He'd never heard the term, but says that whenever he remembers his dreams, they are ones where he knows that he's dreaming. He has them often.

      I'm SO jealous!

      Anyway... just venting lol

      what an asshole?...i think

When I have a lucid dream, which I do every now and again, I often remember it 10 times better. ALthough there have been many exceptions where I have remembered my dreams very well and was not lucid, almost to the point to where it seemed like it was. So if you really hate this guy for having a lucid dream you should make sure it was a real one. See if he was thinking logically in his dream. Meaning were there reasons for his actions, and did the reaction to his actions fit the causes the reasons were intended for. SO if you want to get back at this guy, that is in my belief what signifys a lucid dream. IF you got over it though and its of no use to approach him on the subject now then its still good knowledge to have I guess as a learner of lucid dreaming. ALSO TIP: lucid flying is a great way to vent some steam too!

This is one of my only strong points in LUCID DREAMING.

NOTE: >TRYING TO EXPLAIN FLYING IS LIKE TRYING TO EXPLAIN HOW TO WALK. Most people can walk, and are not asked everyday 'HOW DO YOU WALK'...it is that hard.

I have done it since i was a kid. The secret to flying is just not to think of it as 'flying'. Just do it, also-DO NOT concentrate hard...this will distract you. Just like you would sit up from a chair and walk, jump in the air and fly!

I can offer some more in-depth explenation if you PM me...and if this doesn't work.

I'm not jealous about the flying... I've flown in every lucid dream I've had, and in many non-lucid dremas. It's very very easy for me. I'm jealous about the consistant knowledge of having a dream. He's a natural Lucid Dreamer, which makes me jealous because I've spent a lot of time trying to become a lucid dreamer. I don't hate the guy or anything (quite the contrary...). I'm just jealous of the natural LDers
