my first night of great LD's

i go to bed last night while doing a mild... SUCCESS!! my first induced LD . there wasnt really anything special about the dream details, but it was a lot more real than the 2 ive had in the past (that was when i had no clue what LD's were). i didnt like the scene that i was in, it was dark and foresty, but fortunately nothing nightmarish. i remembered reading something about going to a bridge and having a river of scenes below it, and right after that thought there was a bridge + river, so i go onto it, but there were no scenes below me to jump on, so i get off the bridge and keep walking down the shore of the river. then i remember the spinning technique and the prolonging technique's where you look at your hands and the ground. I look at my hands, then the ground, then i start spinning. i get into another scene, which is an indoor kids park, and i quickly lose lucidity for some reason. then I woke up (in reality), its about 3.5 hours since i fell asleep, and my stomach is a little upset, so I try and go back to sleep. well an hour later i decide that maybe i can try a WILD since i was feeling a little better... SUCCESS!! but it didnt happen the way i think it was supposed, it seems like i fell half way asleep, then bolted back into reality, then at that point i felt some tiny vibrations, then it felt like there was painless electricity shooting through my body (is that normal?), and i felt paralyzation, and then the dream started... the only way i can describe it is like staring at a black t.v. screen, then being thrown into it, then the t.v. turning on. i didnt see the shapes and the scene slowly form, they just came at me in about a second. i heard an errie moan, then i saw a zombie-like creature standing over me in a bedroom that looked like it was from the 1800's. well it didnt take me more than half a second to figure out it was gonna be a nightmare, so i tried to wake up by forcing my eyes open... success!! wait... no, it was a false awakening lol (my first one! ) i didnt trust that scene either, so i again forced my eyes open, and it worked. i didnt want to get to grounded into reality so quickly did a reality check and went directly back to sleep and attempted a wild again. well in about 30 seconds i achieved a wild (im confused on how thats possible ) this time i found myself in my downstairs bathroom looking into the mirror, and i looked exactly like myself. i looked at my hands and the ground to get me deeper into the dream, and it worked, but it wasnt as crystal clear as i was hoping. i had a thought to try and create a person, and right after that thought i saw a blobby shape slowing morphing into a fat kid. i figured my subconcious was trying to create him but it was having difficult since my thoughts were focused on the detail of the dream world. so i close my eyes and picture what my old girlfriend looked like. i open my eyes and find myself in my upstairs bathroom, i see in the mirror behind me is a girl that is identical to her. i turn around and there she is. the dream was fading a bit so i looked at my hands, then my feet, and everything became so incredibly vivid... i decide to test out my senses by giving her a kiss, and it felt just as real as the real thing, i didnt get TOO carried away with it, but i admit i enjoyed it . after a second or two of kissing her i lost lucidity and went into a regular dream phase. wow this was quite a post, but i must say it deserved this many words as it was the most incredible thing that ever happened to me... 8)

a toast- to lucidity and all those who venture into the depths of their subconcious and/or the astral plane

Wow.. what a cool thing to do.. go in and out of WILD just like that. You make it seem so easy (and we all know it's not).

Too bad you couldn't ground yourself so that you could continue kissing the girl!

      Blissful

i think im just VERY lucky with being able to do a WILD, i also have great dream recall, but i dont know if i have a knack for doing MILD's as its only been 2 weeks so far. what really bugs me is that ive never heard of multiple WILD's being performed... does anybody have a clue WTF happened to me last night? i would give anything to get that feeling back... and i had a thought, what is your opinion of sex in a dream? im gonna create a topic for that: http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3776

I usually get to an LD by WILD, and for me it's not unusual to wake from an LD, and then WILD right back into another LD within a minute or so. I think your whole chemistry is already "setup" for the experience, so it's easier. When this happens, I seem to bypass most of the "body buzz" and hypnogogic experiences, and go quickly into a dream scene.
If you waken from an LD, try not to move or get active. If you just relax you can usually WILD quickly.
