      first LD? i think..

      i've been a lurker for a few days now & have been practicing dream recall the past few nights hoping to get into a LD! i believe i had my first one last night..

      i could mostly control only what i was doing.. but not my setting or anyone else. i remember spinning and asking people what time it was. my setting was an old camp i used to attend.. but it didn't look like it. i walked around & spoke to people. i remember wanting a boy to show up.. and he did. but everything else i asked for in the dream would never appear.. when i got frustrated the LD became fuzzy & faded away.

      can anyone help me figure out what happened?

      Sounds like you had a lucid! Congratulations!

      Control is hard and comes with practice. Don't get frustrated, just enjoy the dream and keep trying. Different people have different ways of summoning or creating things; I'm not an expert at that so I can't tell you the best method, only to keep trying, and keep reading--maybe you'll come across a way that works for you.
