      First LD since joining!

Finally I had a LD last night! (Though I only had lucidity for a few seconds before I forgot I was dreaming!)

What happened was this: Someone in my family (i don't remember who) was driving me home. When we got there, there was a giant hole in the front of my house! I ran inside to see if everyone was ok. No one was there, exept for Tidbit and Scrabbles (my pet rats) in their cage. I got the cage and put it in the car, and we drove around looking for my parents. I couldn't believe that they had just vanished like that. I was sitting on top of a hill, and I was like: "Hey... My parents would never abandon me! I'm dreaming!" But it was a very low level of lucidity and as I started walking down the hill I lost lucidity and continued on with the dream.

Thanks! ^_^ I just had another one, but I can't remember it very well. (I took a 3 hour nap after posting this.)

When I realized I was lucid in this dream (idk how I became lucid) I remember saying "Finally! Something good to put in my dream journal. I also remember flying and something about "suppossed time." (By suppossed time, I think I was remembering something from LaBerge's book, when he said something like "you might see someone go to sleep in a movie and then seconds later their alarm goes off. You assume that 8 hours have passed. The same is for LD's that seem like they last months or years." Note: that's not an exact quote.)

Pretty cool! I had terrible recall on my first two LD's. I suppose that you could dream false intervals, yes. When I was young I had a quite vivid dream in which I woke up in my bed in the beginning, and went to bed at night. Obviously I didn't dream for 16 hours, but there was an illusion of time.

I don't really know if I was dreaming at false intervals or not. I just remember saying something like "Drat! I forgot about the suppossed time!" which sounds sort of weird.
