Thread: 3rd and BEST LD since joining!!!

I had so much control of this dream and it lasted so long that it was amazing!

First, on the non-lucid part, I was trying to kill these giant dragons using the "brush techniques" from a video game called Okami. One of them was using a boy as a shield,a but I killed it anyway and the boy wa still alive. When he passed me, I told him I was sorry if I hurt him. Then my brother and his friend were sitting on our picnic table talking about "slooshies." I said, "wait a minute, slooshies don't exist! I'm dreaming!" Then I lept into the air and flew. While I was flying, I was trying to rub my hands together, but it made me do barrel rolls. I was not a very good flyer, even though it was pretty fun, so I landed. I started talking to my brother and a lady who doesn't exist. I wanted them to say something really stupid so I could put it in the thread about what DCs say. Anyway, I asked my brother, "What is March 6?" "Um... a birthday party?" "Close. It's a birthday. Do you know whose?" "Uh... mine?" I was shocked that a DC of my brother knew the answer, and I said "DRAT! how'd you know?" The lady asked me why I was asking those questions and I told her it was because I liked to hear DCs say stupid things. I was tired of talking to them and decided to do something else. First I walked back up to where the picnic table was and hit my hand really hard on a tree to see if it hurt. It did! (I was afraid I hit it on my wall in real life, because I do that sometimes.) Then my friend, Brandi showed up. She wondered why I had just hit my hand on the tree. I told her that unlike some people think, you can feel pain in dreams, so pinching isn't reliable. "Oh, really?" she asked. Then started pinching me!
"Ow! Stop! I told you that hurts!" Then she said, "I wonder if you're ticklish in dreams too." She started trying to tickle me but I made her stop. Then I remembered the task of the month for May, and even though I knew it was June I wanted to try it. So I walked over to the tree and tried to mentally uproot it. Nothing happened. I turned around and started to talk to Brandi. She was teasing me because it didn't work. Then I turned back around and there was an extra tree beside the original one, and one from the woods walking towards us (with a Lord of the Rings appearance) looking like it might attack us. I shouted the command, "STOP!" and it vanished. I told Brandi, "see it did work! Just not the way I expected." I then said my REM state was probably almost over, and sure enough a few seconds later I "woke up." I either had a false awakening, or woke up and then went into another REM state, because I remember telling my parents about the dream in another dream.
