Anyone Ever Flown Like This?

A bit ways into the dream I was standing on a hill next to a house in my neighborhood and an acquaintance from school was next to me and for some reason I was having a hard time flying and this has to be one of the most odd methods of flying I have ever performed. The DC was wearing a jacket and began ti Zip and Unzip it and as he did so he rose off the ground and flew through the air. I proceeded to do the same and was quite surprised when I lifted off the ground and began to fly. What other methods have you guys/gals used to fly?

Hehehe that's a creative method. I'm trying to think... but I think all I've done is flap my arms. If I'm adventurous I'll grow wings. I've also used the zooming method, but that wasn't exactly flying... more like getting places really fast.

Loads. Hmm let me think. Jumped from a high building and just flew. Neo - Matrix - stlyle flying Super Man style flying Flying with wings (A really cool non-lucid dream where i was this angel) Flying as though im swimming A kind of "Spirit Away" type fly where im like 1 foot above the ground only and going really fast. Flying in space and going into a kind of hyperspace speed to get to the moon - aka "zooming method" and this doesnt really count but i once wanted to jump to the top of a sky scraper so what i did was get into a "croutching tiger" stance gathered energy below me and shot up really fast. However, i still suck at flying.

Growing wings and flying? Wow never thought of that one. The ones I do the most are Neo/Super Man/DBZ type flying. I'll have to try some of the ones you guys do.

Sometimes I just run through the air. But I do remember something like you are talking about, it just won't come to me.

Well i cant really give much advise with that, many of my flying dreams are non-lucid or just the odd Lucid where i feel like i have infinite power. So if your like me, then growing wings may take some time!

I grow wings out of my shoulder blades, or my arms turn into wings. I've also flown on a broomstick like a witch lol that was fun. There was also a magic carpet like in Alladin. I usually spend most of my dream time flying. It's so much fun!

My flying experience felt like magnetism you know that feeling when you put the same poles together and they push away thats how I felt in my dream it wasinteresting at times I was soaring high and other times I barely got off the ground. Manuevering was hard espically since I was in a foresty area with a feild like a minute away...

I wish I tried something like that... I've flapped my hands up and down in desperate situations, jumped off a few cliff-like places and started to fly after falling a few feet... odd sensation, it felt like sinking in non-wet water, noramlly I'd jump up in the air and fly. Sometime though I want to transform into a dragon or something and fly away or at least summon up something odd to ride on...

Yes, the magnetation rings a bell with me. It seems to be will first, or intent and then I begin to rise like a balloon. Sometimes I skim just above the ground too, trying to get higher. Sometimes I get high immediately. Never going very fast really but generally locking onto a river and following that up and into the mountains. Once on top of a mountain I found a bright glittering yellow formal hung haphazerdly on a tree. I stopped and put it on then continued on with my flight.

My favorite is to get gigantic fluffy angel wings. That sounds awesome. I've definitely got to try that. Anyway, the only real method I've used was not flapping my arms constantly, but pushing with them every now and then; by doing it it propelled me through the air, as if the air was some kind of thick, jellyish substance.

That's the strangest method of flying I've ever heard of. The one time I managed to fly, I simply willed myself up into the air...when that method works, you can get some really great altitude!
