      My First Lucid Dream

I just woke up from it. Ohh man it was awesome. But I can't tell if it was an actual lucid dream or not, due to waking up. I was hoping if you could enlighten me.

Before bed I happened to watch a little bit of "The Omen" and "The Grudge." I believe that some scary movies actually triggers great dreams. I truly believe that, because in my experience just about a week ago after watching a bit of "The Omen" I had a great dream in which I experienced death (vibrations, several waking in the dream events) 2 times. Haven't watched a scary flick since then, but last night I watched a bit of "The Grudge" and waited for a scene that truly gave me the chill in my body. Just one chill maybe. And so it did.

I can't really remember if I had dreams before this, but I wasn't practicing WILD. I'm sure this was realized in the dream.

When I first realized it, I wasn't sure at first. I looked at my hands. I knew that I was dreaming, and I was sure of it (in the dream.) Great happiness hit me, but at that very moment I was scared of losing the lucidity. But, it didn't go away for a while.
I was in this large (but seems small) library. It held ALOT of books, at every hall. I didn't see much, but I happened to go towards a shelf. I was just happy at this point. I tried to think, "I want to see future lottery numbers!" But when I looked at this one book that I expected to change, it didn't. It just randomly changed colors and to a different title. I forgot the exact name, but I think it was something with "consciousness" or the like. Something weird. I wanted to read something, but I wasn't interested if it wasn't future lottery numbers. I guess I just kept going on. Everything seemed very clear to me as I stood in the library. I remembered reading about spinning the dream body to change the scenery. So, I tried that. After the intense spinning, I took a look. It was the same library.
Why didn't it change? Oh well.

Then randomly some shit just came in the dream. Just random stuff you would see in a normal dream. I was like alright, I'll play with this and have fun. They were just too weird, such as a mouse or some small being that was in a hallway of the library smoking bad pot and some coins. He wanted me to roll him a very small joint with some bad and some dank marijuana, along with some coins that he offered to pay. It was just weird.

From then on, I don't remember exactly how the scenery changed. But I was in my home at this instant. I looked around, and everything seemed very clear and detailed, to the shoes that were at the door, books, and all other stuff. I was just randomly abiding there. My mind was just filled with happiness. I decided to look outside the patio door where I could see the street and some houses. I tried playing with my "god powers," if you will. I forgot some things that I wanted to manifest.. but I remember trying them. They didn't change whatsoever. I'm like, wtf? It's my dream, why can't I control this? So I tried to change the cars that pass by. I realized that if I said it clearly, like saying a command to a cell phone, it would work. I looked at one car that was at the street. I said to myself, "change that car into a Hummer Limousine." And it happened.

I'm not sure when this happened, but random shit just entered into the dream like before, such as some guy trying to shoot me while I'm on the patio. I just managed to stay in the apartment. I then sat and went to this very computer I'm at now. I guess I played a computer game for a bit.

At the very end, I wondered what it'll be like... masturbating the dream. I started to do so, but then this random thought flew into my head; "wonder if I'll ever wake up." Then the dream faded away quickly, and I was just in blackness, with my mind coming back to me; all the memories of the dreams storing in my head. I woke up, feeling lik eI had great sleep, and with a half-assed boner. Weird.

So, there ya have it. I REALLY wished I did alot of shit, such as flying through the damn sky and blowing shit up. But I didn't. I just stood in my apartment like a bitch. It was complete doubt of my "powers." But at times I would think, "man I should drive some fast ass car around." But I didn't.

In the beginning of the dream I was just thinking about clarity after first realizing it was a dream. I looked at my hands and around me. It felt like I had concentrated enough, and it was clear enough. When I woke up, the dream just "felt" like a normal dream, just memory of it. But it was an intense dream; definitely in my top 10 of my "dream listing." So it leads me to these questions:

      1) Did I really have a lucid dream? I'm sure it's just based on poor clarity since it was my first.
      2) If it was lucid, why didn't the dream follow my commands/powers at first? Such as big or strong godly thoughts. Nothing manifested, even some small things.

I'm going through these forums and reading topics on increasing clarity. This dream has now officially motivated me to practice ld better. More scary movies as well

      Thanks for reading.
