One of the weirdest sensations I have, besides flying, is passing through objects or letting objects pass through me. One example is the glass of water sensation, i.e. passing my hand through a glass full of water. The mind makes it (seem) real — the central part of my hand feels the water, and at the edges I feel the glass. |

The strangest feeling was stepping into a mirror and looking back through it. |

Meeting oneself. :p |

I know who I am, as I become...
Gliding through the warm ocean water. |
|
I love the feeling just before a lucid dream starts - that strange tingling, rushing sensation thats almost like an orgasm. My favourite sensation was being on a cart that was going full tilt down a hill. Could feel the wind in my hair and every bump in the road. |

That sounds so wonderful. I haven't lucid dreamed yet, but this thread is making me want to experience it so badly! I know one of the first things I'll try is not flying, but swimming underwater, breathing. Then maybe some dancing, because I tend to be so nervous about it in real life, one of the few things i have confidence issues about. Who knows, maybe doing it in my dreams will help |

Just a couple of days ago I had a dream(nope, not a lucid dream), in which there was a girl resting on my laps... And the feeling in that dream was so... Well, it is almost impossible to explain but I'll have a try. It felt like I had got everything I wanted from my life... I mean, it was so good feeling, and so difficult to describe... And yet, it was a dream. I have had only 1 lucid dream durin' my career of Lucid Dreaming. Still this sensation, this feeling, was best what I had felt for my entire life... |

Shooting lightning. Making it dance in your hands. Coiling it around your body. |

I like when I can just fall and fall and fall and fall and .. |
|
I know who I am, as I become...
I'll second the mirror one. Passing through any object is cool, but the feeling of passing through a mirror is just delicious. |

This morning I had a big yellow balloon attached to my neck carry me around, floating over forests and lakes. It was one of the best lucid experiences I've had so far. |

How I discover what my dreams are about
In my last lucid dream I made pink sparks between my palms. I was trying to make a white ball of energy...
In a recent LD, I put my right hand through a DC's head, and got the feeling of his brain. |
|
Shapeshifting... Definately shapeshifting... In one dream I was a anthro (stands on two legs) dragon. Everything (seemed) completley real. I could feel my wings, tail, and the rough scales that covered me. It was exhilirating and somewhat horrifying at the same time... Easily the biggest slap in the face dream sign i've ever had. |

Having the power of the Avatar, Complete control over all four elements, shooting fire bolts out my hands, Manipulating water and creating enormouse tsunamis, Taping into the immense power of the earth, and even using the element Air to create a tornado to fling me up thousands of feet into the air then soaring over the carabian sea.. I felt so powerfull and special.. and the sensation they gave off was so real. i felt the heat on my hands, the wieght of the Earth, The stimulating and relaxing sounds and feeling of the water streaming around my body, and the loud powerfull rush of the Air Thundering past my ears as i Flew at incredible speads over the vivid crystal clear blue sea.. Absalutly amazing. |

I love the senstation of breathing water. How it is heavy and warm. For some reason whenever I breath water in my LDs I always get this odd sort of homesick feeling -- melancholy and sweet at the same time. I wonder what that is. |

Love. Love is so, so, so much stronger in my dreams. Not to say I love my Love less while I'm awake. It's just that I don't think my waking mind would fully be able to comprehend that much love. |
|
I think there's a good chance that the homesick,melancholy/sweet feeling you get when you breath water is probably due to you remembering being in the womb - when you're in the womb you breathe amniotic fluid, and I think for most babies, being in the womb is a pleasant experience, all warm and weightless and cozy and safe. The sensation of breathing water in your dream (which is obviously the only place you can do it) probably makes some part of you remember being in that warm, safe place, breathing the amniotic fluid and dreaming (they say fetuses do dream), waiting to be born |
