WILD with no dream characters

I just achieved a WILD for the first time the other night and had a strange experience. I was able to fly all over my town and through walls with ease. It was an exact duplicate of my town but with no dream characters at all. It was like a ghost town. Once I lost lucidity I began to interact with dc again. Has anyone ever had a lucid dream with no dream characters?

Has anyone ever had a lucid dream with no dream characters? Yes, i normally become lucid in my house or my old house and lots of times there are never dream characters around, or if there are very few. If i want to find some i have to go to a shop, building, pub etc.....

Did you set any intention for your dream which include dream characters? When my intention don't include dream characters, it can happen that I don't meet any. Sounds reasonable to me.

After flying around for a while I tried to find a specific person but I wasn't able to do it. I have a lot of trouble with finding people actually. When I try to call to mind someone in particular they usually don't look like they should.

Sometimes if you can't see anyone, if you call out someone will answer, and you can talk to them.

Congrats on the WILD! It was said somewhere around here that one reason for a lack of DCs may be your mind focusing more on consciousness than the generation of dream people.
