1st LD and I've found my method!

      Hey!

Had my first 'real' LD with WBTB last night, I woke at 4, jotted my previous dreams, set my alarm to nine then drifted back to sleep whilst 'keeping' some conciousness.

Then I slipped into this super-vivid dream; I was at my primary school (I think that's grade school to Americans? Please forgive my lack of knowledge.) Within seconds of 'getting out a car' I realised I was dreaming, I just ... somehow knew, no reality checks or anything! I rubbed my hands together to keep the clarity.

I then saw that my house was attatched to the school's apparently empty car park, I decided I wanted to fly to the top of it (apparently I now lived in a 20 floor mansion!). In the car park, I looked up at the sky where I saw grey clouds. "These will change to white", I thought to myself - and slowly, they did!

Then I was ready for lift off, I took a running jump and I was up in the air! Wooooooo! I then 'air swam' up and around the outside of my house for a bit and gradually the dream faded into another non-lucid.

That's my first real experience and my first proper attempt with WBTB - so my confidence has shot up!

      Any comments appreciated,

      /Evs

      Congrats!!

How many hours did you sleep before waking up at 4? For me, surprisingly, sleeping for about 4 hours works the best.

      Thanks!

I think I slept 4 and a half or so.

What was really weird about that night is a kept 'waking in dreams' and going into another one.

Thanks Clarity! Actually, some of my inspiration to try a 'Wake-induced' method came from your WILD technique!
