      Good job shadows

Just one thing though; could you make a new post that only contains this:

      83. Breathing underwater

(This is just the ending of a much longer LD in which I did quite a few tasks.)

I took off flying again. I flew outside. I was on the roof of a three story apartment building.

I remember thinking about how I had been talking about how cool it was to just fall backward off things...so I decided to do it again. As I stood at the edge about to fall, I thought, "Now am I really sure I'm dreaming. If I'm not, this will be fatal."

But I was already falling backwards. I didn't fall to the ground level, but just to a balcony on the floor below. I actually landed on a soft couch. I stood up again and was planning to fall backwards again, but I saw a pool down below. I remembered how I had wanted to do a Water Task. This wasn't the ocean, but a pool could be good practice for future water Tasks.

So I dived off the balcony and went straight in the water of the pool. I worked myself to the botton. I started to breath. It was a very strange feeling. It wasn't like I had remembered before when I was breathing underwater just like it was air.

I could kind of feel the unpleasant feeling of water trying to come in through my nose. I had to block my nose breathing off. When I breathed through my mouth it felt like there were bubble appearing right in front of my mouth that I was able to suck in. It made a little bubbly noise as I did so. But it worked, I was able to breathe. And it seemed significant to me that I would be able to breathe like this indefinitely.

I looked around again to see if there was anything interesting at the bottom of the pool. I saw a guy and a dog also laying at the bottom.

I decided to try the Pet Task again with the dog. I started talking to it and asked it to talk to me. But suddenly the guy that was with the dog got mad at me. He said, " He's underwater! And you want him to talk!" --as if it would kill the dog for it to talk underwater. Of course this guy was talking underwater and it wasn't killing him.

I was trying to decide if I was going to debate this with the guy, but then I could feel myself losing the dream. Then I was awake.
That way when someone hits the link in the list they'll only see the dream

Hopefully by doing it that way we'll be able to keep all the experience reports neat and tidy (the person that clicks the link won't even know about this thread, they'll just see your individual post -- like this).

      Thanks alot

      2. Flying into Outer Space

So as I flew I decided that I needed to be in space. And without any effort I was suddenly soaring though the stars. It was so beautiful and incredible.

I thought about how I had always wanted to do that, and I had never been able to do it before. I had read about others doing it and wondered how they managed to do it because it seemed to be a difficult thing to do. And I was so amazed how this just happened naturally for me in this dream.

I also thought about how everything was just too quiet. I wanted to hear a soundtrack. But I wasn’t able to get music going.

I noticed as I flew though the stars, that the stars seemed to be more concentrated above me. It started looking more to me like a flat ceiling. But I decided not to let that bother me too much. This was my first time creating a flight through space, and it was pretty darn good.

I realized that my next goal was to find a space ship. I really wanted to find Darth Vader and confront him. I looked below me and I now saw a white medium sized space craft. It was a dirty white with yellow and black trim. I knew Darth Vader was on that ship.

I flew to it. I knew that it I flew into it fast enough that I would fly right through the sides and end up inside. And I did.

Unfortunately (and this kills me), this is the part of the dream I remember the least. Something happened on that ship, but I have no memory what it was. But I do remember the dream suddenly fading.

I was suddenly back in a house. There was a hallway with a mirror at the end in front of me. I knew I was still in the dream. I also knew that if I ran straight at the mirror, that it would transport me back to space.

So I ran toward the mirror, diving inside, and was again back in space. I saw the same ship in front of me. I flew right at it. But instead of slipping back inside, I hit the outside. This time it was too solid for me to get it. I was very disappointed. Again the dream faded.

Thanks...it just kills me though that I can't remember what happened on the space ship. I think I might remember storm troopers, but I'm not sure.....

Good luck on your space adventure...

148: Kill a Dragon (sorry Matt5678, didn't know you were working on this too)

I realized I was dreaming inside a town that resembled an ancient Greek university. There were white columbed buildings, tiled floors, a bright blue sky, and many people walking around in a commons area with a marble fountain in the middle.

I remembered how I wanted to kill a dragon, and a dragon quickly materialized in the sky. It was massive, had two heads, and yellow/brown skin. Even though I wanted it to appear, it still scared me quite a bit. I started shooting fireballs at it which exploded on contact. Eventually it fell to the ground.

But then two dragons appeared! I threw more fireballs frantically, knowing they could charge at any moment. They created large explosions on contact, but the dragons did not go down. Now this next move was not planned. I really wanted to kill these dragons and I chanted "Divine Intervention." The heavens opened up and this twister descended and sucked up the two dragons and a Blastoise from pokemon. I don't know what blastoise was doing there, he is water, not dragon. What was really exciting was that this did not over excite me and I had about 5 more minutes of lucidity.

      116 ~ Summon things

i was outside and had just got done flying around my house and decided to summon someone. I didnt know who to summon, so I just said "a person will be in the house" I didnt think it would work. Nothing felt different and nothing changed. So i walked through the door to see who i summoned (if anyone) and i started yelling from suprise and fear as i found a short fat hispanic grandma in a blue shirt attacking me with some stuffed animals. after she threw a couple at me, she stopped and just stared at me for a couple of seconds. The she ran down the hall and dissapeared.

WOW I completed 14 ~ Do stand up comedy!!!!!!!!!!

      Excerpt from dream journal:

      2ND WILD: Lucid Goal!!

I woke up to tell my brother about the experience... I think he was asleep because he didn't respond... I decided to try another WILD... I'm still not sure if this was an FA. This time sleep paralysis hit me in under 20 seconds!!! I found myself in my school non lucid. I was walking around and then A student informed me that there was a hockey tournament today. He said he'll need my help Icing the hallways... For some reason we had to make the hallways really slippery so the hockey players could skate in between rinks. I went outside and some grade 5 girl who looked my age started hitting on me... I had control but didn't know I was dreaming yet... I hugged her but then told her I can't do anything more cause shes WAY too young. I then spotted something that made me lucid: There were race cars in the school parking lot!! I hopped in one while rubbing my hands and sped off!!! Lucid racing was much like a video game... I love video games... Which is why I raced around for over 20 minutes!!! I soon realized I was wasting my time in my LD so I remembered my personal goal... To do stand up comedy in front of a crowd of comedians (and mostly regular people) So I pulled over into what looked like an abandoned building. I did some passive control to make a stage and an audience... As I walked in I saw Chris rock, Dave Chapelle, and Adam Sandler in the front row!! I got up on stage and people started applauding! "thanks thanks" they all started laughing and it wasn't even funny!!! (I love preforming for crowds so this was the ultimate feeling for me!) I then said "hows everybody doing today??" They all roared with laughter... Unfortunately...My lucidity began to fade... I was still semi Lucid and the comedy club was turning into a gospel... I decided to go with it so I impressed the audience with my gospel singing skills... I woke up soon after.

      116 summon something

I realize it has been done already, but it has happened to me twice, both times were great.

      1) I was in a large, king-like chamber complete with throne and red carpet and was in need of a hasty ride to Washington state to visit a friend. I thought I would try summoning something instead of flying, and a blue winged eagle with the body of a man appeared and flew me there

      2) I was on a large rocky pillar in the middle of a large storm, surrounded by roiling waves and swells. A large sea monster (very Godzilla-esque) appeared, but I had not called it. I could tell it was not friendly, but realizing at that moment that I was dreaming, and had total control over what would happen, I decided instead to reform the monster myself. I reached out my hand and the monster broke into hundreds of smaller versions of itself. Then, I put them back together as a nice monster (the color had shifted too, think a picture and its negative) and it slowly lumbered away

      83- Breathe underwater

(This happend last summer when I had a cast on my right wrist b/c I broke it wrestling. I don't even know if this will count but I did the task and I figure maybe someone might want to hear about my dream.)

Iam outside of a manchine surrounded by a jungle. I am with my parents, sister, grandparents, and a friend. Everyone was wearing all white clothes. We are holding fishing poles, we all walked over to the lake in the back yard. When we got to the lake it wasn't a lake it was a pool, we weren't wearing white clothes anymore instead we were wearing bathing suites. We jumped in the pool and we were having fun. Suddenly I was the only person in the pool. A wave formed and collapsed on me, I swam up to the surface to gasp for air, but then another wave hit me. I swam up to the surface to get more air, but before I got there I was hit with more waves. I tried to swim back up but I couldn't, I started to sink. I knew I was going to die if I couldn't get back to the surface, and I got scared. I could see my right arm, I noticed it doesn't have a cast on it, and I shouldn't be in water anyway because I should have a cast on... so I must be dreaming!!! I said to myself BREATHE it was like not breathing for 20 seconds in waking life then taking a breath of air. Since this happend when I first started getting the hang of LD's I had no control of the enviornment. So once I became Lucid and got out that death trap of a pool the enviornment changes and I'm in outerspace. I see a planet infront of me, and then I see Frieza from Dragonball z. We started fighting, I beat him. Then I yelled what is my dream sign! What I'm looking at changes from outerspace to the fuzzy screen you get on TV when you are on a chanel you can't get. Then I woke up.

I hope you enjoyed reading my dream.

After completing this month's lucid task, and turning into a grizzly bear last night, I think I'll try #86 — be a dragon.

I've done numbers 67 and 87, all in past dreams, but predetermined. In fact, I'm Superman in all my lucids...

#67 ~ Take down your biggest phobia

I have long had a vague fear of grounds. Most would call it a fear of heights, but it's not the height that kills you, it's the ground. I had already decided just recently that the next lucid dream I had, I was going to try to fix this.

I dreamed that I was crossing the threshold of my brother's house, and I remember the familiar scent of what the house used to smell like when my uncle was alive (my brother inherited the house when my uncle died) hitting me. I walked on through the door. The house was constructed oddly, with a long plank-and-rope bridge where the living room should be. It stretched across a shallow creek, with a rocky bed. My brother stood in the middle of this bridge. It was perhaps a fifty foot drop to the creek bed, in which perhaps six or eight inches of water flowed. I started to walk out to my brother, but when I looked down, between the large gaps in the planks, my fear of grounds hit me. That is when I became lucid.

I thought to myself, wait, this is a dream, I can fix this here and now! And so I swung right over the side of the bridge and jumped down, knowing that nothing could harm me. I seemed to fall in slow motion, heading toward a huge pine log split in half, with a flat side laying facing up. I thought for a second about whether to hit it and land atop it, or to just hit it hard and see what happened. I decided on the latter, and wound up buried up to my waist in the log, splinters everywhere but in me. I grinned, then jumped straight up, flying briefly, and landed beside my brother on the bridge. He gave me a funny look, and then showed me a rope swing and water slide he had set up in the creek, and made some comment about how he knew I wouldn't use the rope swing because of my phobia. I showed him, though, when I immediately grabbed the rope, swung out and around a few times, then let go and aimed for the water slide, which I missed by a considerable margin, and landed hard on the rocks. My lucidity faded soon after.

I woke up the next morning feeling like my phobia was at an end, though I still haven't put it to the test.

      #87 ~ Be Superman

Well, I'm Superman in most every lucid dream, but here's an excerpt from my last lucid:

I found myself running down what seemed to be my driveway. I didn't much like the setting, so I changed it. I got a busy city street next, and decided that would do. It was a very busy road, four-lane I believe. Or maybe just an oddly wide two-lane with a turn lane, not sure. There were cars speeding toward me from both sides, as I was standing in the middle of the street. Being Superman, as I nearly always am in lucid dreams, I wasn't all that concerned by this, and thought I'd have myself a little destructive fun. I dove and rolled, rolling beneath a passing car, coming to my feet on the other side of the road, and used my telekinesis to lift another car into the air and throw it into a building. Then I dove again, rolling across the street underneath several vehicles. I again rose to my feet and used telekinesis to thrown cars and trucks around, some of them exploding on hitting the ground. I repeated this a few times, once even kicking up with my feet as I rolled under a car, sending it flying skyward only to explode in a fiery ball of flame as it hit the hard pavement upon getting reacquainted with gravity. After I'd blown up or destroyed most of the cars within sight, and grown bored of this, I stood in one place for maybe half a minute, thinking on what I wanted to do next.

And yes, I nearly always use telekinesis.

      I did #22 - elastic limbs.

I was having a competition dream. We had to finish an obsticle course and be the first to retrieve the glowing blue sphere (it was magic). I was competeing against the entire football team from my High School, my cousin Jerry, and this annoying DC from the previous dream. I was the only girl. I was lucid because I noticed that the obsticle course looked a lot like some parts of the Tomb Raider game. I was climbing and swinging and sliding through the course as fast as I could, but I kept falling behind. But I really wanted that sphere! So, right as the annoying DC was about the grab it I made my arms get all stretchy and I grabbed it first!

I did #37 - bargaining with my subconscious. I did it a few months ago, before I read this thread, but maybe it should still count? Here it is:

I was in a preschool beating up a giant, alive, stuffed grey bunny. I was lucid and decided to kill it, so I ripped its head off. But every time I did it re-grew the head and laughed at me! After a few times I realized I was fighting some part of my self. So I stood up and yelled, "That's it! What are you so mad about? We need to sit down and talk." So I manifested an auditorium and walked inside. In it were about 200 people and creatures, including the giant grey bunny. I walked up to the stage, grabbed a mic and sat down. I asked "what is wrong?" They all started yelling at me at once and I couldn't pick out what they were saying. I kept yelling into the mic, "Shhh! Take turns!" But they just yelled at me. Then this big, muscled, beautiful drag queen in a blue sequined dress sauntered up to me and said, "I'll help you honey." He got them to quiet down. One of them (I don't remember what he looked like) said, "We are mad because you hate us. We are doing our best, but still it isn't good enough, and you keep hateing us." The reason he said this is pretty personal, so I won't explain, but it did make perfect sense. I told them I would stop hateing them, and that I would work hard to be better to myself. I hugged the drag queen and thanked him. Then I woke up so I could write it down.

I've also done #83 - breathe underwater. I do this so much it is a dream sign for me.

I did #122 - turn into the opposite sex when it was one of the tasks of the month.

#138 - talk to a dead relative or friend. I've done this a lot, too. Earlier this week I was LDing that I was at my grandma's house. She was having a party. Both of her dead parents were there. No one but me could see them. I asked my Great Grandma what she did all day in heaven. She said she spent a lot of time watching over her living family. She also said she went to the library a lot. I asked my Great Grandpa why he looked so sad. He said one of his living female decendents was going through a difficult divorce and he was worried about her.

#241 - live as a caveman in a small tribe. The night before I had read a book about cavemen. I realized right away that I was dreaming when I found myself in a smokey cave. It smelled really bad -- like smoke, BO, and rotten meat. It was hard to breathe. I ate some food a cavewoman gave me. It was meat. The outside was burnt, but the inside was raw! I almost freaked out, but remembered it was a dream and I couldn't get sick. I laid down on a pile of furs and fell asleep. When I woke up I was having another dream.

#261 - undersea sex. Okay, in the one dream where I did this it was pretty disapointing. I felt like it was a waste of a lucid.

Whoops, sorry. Didn't see this until just now, and it seems it's too late to edit my post.

      Thanks, too.

After I was through with flying, I took a few extended jumps, as if there was very little gravity. This was also quite a bit of fun, and I thought about whether or not it was part of BillyBob's thread, "An Epic Task."
I didn't think to do this before bed, but my subconscious remembered.

I've breathed underwater many times in LDs, one of the most awesome experiences
"What if I were to tell u that you can take control...of all of this? Look at all these people. Seems as though they're just all chatting away? Nothing to do with u. And yet., maybe they're only here because u wanted them to. U are their god. U can make them obey u or even destroy u."

As I was skimming through the list, I saw one task "Fight with Cool Weapons, (Ninja Style)" and another "Be a Ninja" were very similar. Can certain tasks be done in one go?
