If you are wanting to try the WILD technique then you should really go to sleep, and wake up after about 4/5 hours sleep
Thanks for the reply. I will have to see if I can convince myself to stay asleep for 4/5 hours. Maybe some auto suggestion will help. My problem is that I go to bed and spontaneously become lucid on the first dream of the night (an hour and half later). This only serves to immediately wake me up, but I can no longer fall back asleep after that. While laying there trying to go back to sleep, my focus never seems to shut off and I end up in WILD. Any ideas on what to do about that?
