      Lucid this morning + Question

      Howdy,

I had an LD this morning, anyway quite random (as they usually are) I flew around above this really weird land with a huge row of marching giant rhino's going down one of the roads, which was quite nice watching , anyhow I was looking for a tube station, flew down then I know I was still Lucid but have forgot the rest ... I also remember spinning around cos someone I wanted to see wouldnt appear, they didnt after either ....

I have a question, I know there is a section on blinking in LD's, and this morning for some reason I was activly noticing myself blinking in the LD, now before I have never noticed this, but this morning I did, and every time I blinked it all distorted, now I dont know if this was my dream or if I was coming out of it .. ? upon this happening I tried not blinking and got this burning sensation like in real life ... hmmmm .... any thoughts ... ? has this happened to anyone else before ... ?

      be like neo.

keep your dream eyes closed but continue to see. if you are fully lucid this should not be hard

Blinking is a popular technique to either change scenery or to wake yourself up. So it doesn't surprise me that your dream got distorted every time you blinked.

I like what Maxwell said. If this continues to be an annoyance, just close your dream eyes. In all probability, you will see darkness at first and then the dream scene will slowly reappear.

      Hope this helps!

I never ever blink in my dreams unless I want to. Just don't think about it and you won't do it, just like breathing.
