      fun with a re-occurring nightmare!!

for a while now, I have been having a nightmare where zombies are trying to kill me. The ones that sprint, for example from the movie Dawn of the Dead. It's a pretty terrifying dream usually, as it always ends with the teeth beginning to rip at my skin.

Anyways, last night I had it. It started out in the log cabin themed ball room. I forget why we were there, but me and a couple people from my school were sitting down at a table waiting to be served. It actually almost looked like an awards ceremony for something, and a speaker was waiting to begin. I remember the ball room was massive, and there was a lot of DC's in it.

All of a sudden the killer zombies started running in. Most of the DC's had already sprinted out of the place, while others just stood there for some reason to get eaten. As I watched from a distance in the back of the ballroom, I asked myself why some of the people there werent running away from scary things like zombies... and then thats when it hit me that I was in a dream.

hahaha I dont know why, but the first thing that popped into my head to kill the zombies was to metamorph into a huge werewolf. so I did. After the change I looked down to confirm it. I looked into my arms, my legs, etc in extreme detail as the change really intrigued me. My paws were huge, with a set of (what it seemed) razor sharp knives as claws. My body was covered in a gray/white combination of fur. My legs were cocked inward. I could see a huge muzzle placed in between and beneathe my eyes. But probably the funniest part about it was the size of my tail, cause it was pointlessly long. But everything was so vivid, and looked incredibley real.

After examining my new body I finally decided to give the zombies some of their own medicine. Each zombie I killed I would kill a different way to experiment. For example, some I would run up to and simply bit into them with my massive jaws, consequentially ripping them in half. Others I would pick up and rip them apart with my strength. Finally my favorite thing was to kill a zombie, then to throw their dead carcus at other zombies. After all the zombies were dead (or ran away), there was blood everywhere. The blood represented an exaggerated amount of what is actually in a human body... let me re-word that: the blood represented a very exaggerated amount.

As part of the fun, I let out a surprisingly loud and realistic wolf howl. Thats when I lost lucidity. The rest of the dream was something dealing with going to school as a werewolf.

It was fun to turn around a nightmare into something that actually turns out to be funny/fun to do.

That sounds like a lot of fun. I'm going to try turning into other animals now. I doubt I will be able to do it.

That sounds freaking AWESOME. Shapeshifting is something I've wanted to try for some time now.

Haha, I love the bit at the end where you have to deal with being a werewolf. That's classic dream logic right there.

Lol first of all you cant be in control if your not lucid... and you cant be lucid if your not in control... ?

Anyways i have wanted to do stuff like this for a while now. Becoming a tiger is one i am really looking forward to. Then exploring a jungle and hunting as my enormous powerful self. As far as zombies, that sounds awesome and i will try to make myself into a werewolf who can throw fireballs at those motherfuckers...

Yeah, you can *rarely* control a dream *somewhat* when non-lucid. I have done it, but it doesn't compare too being lucid and having much more control.

Being a tiger would be cool.

Well, as it is said, if you can control a dream or are aware you are dreaming that is being lucid. It is a low level of lucidity however, and possibly with a high level of control... Anytime you know your dreaming, its considered lucid technically.

I think transforming into something in a dream would freak me out.

Zombies are fun. I've encountered them a couple times in LDs. In fact they were the main antagonist in my first LD. I didn't think to get any weapons to fight them with, but I was able to call a bus to save me and I could defeat two of them hand to hand.

For me it wasnt it all. It was actually stimulating in a way. Mainly due to the sense of overall power you feel over everything in the dream.

I already get that feeling when I make dream characters disappear simply by having no interest in them.

Man, thats just power. Theres no cool factor in that. When you become a werewolf your body is shot through with power that is ultimately awesome. You can crush people's skulls, knock down walls, impale, frighten, leap all "naturally". It is so awesome. Having power over DCs isn't even the slightest bit comparable to a good transformation.
