      Something contacting me... weird

I have only lucid dreamt 3 times in my life. I found out about lucid dreams about 5 months ago. I know what being lucid is like, but never have I felt like I'm about to describe.

      ---------

I was in my kitchen, getting something I'm not quite sure. I turn around to face the kitchen bench when suddenly my body collapses, it wasn't a heart attack like collapse, but more of a invisible force pushing me down, restricting my body from movement collapse. I tried to speak but was incapable to, all I could get was mere noises. A family member thought I had fainted and was down beside me helping me and seeing if I was okay. I wasn't having any type of seizure or anything.

This is the part we're I started to become aware of being awake, I was still in my dream but my consciousness was shared between both dream state and awake state. My actual body in my bed felt like it could not move. I tried to move my body whilst I was still in my dream but still couldn't. The feeling was indescribable. There was also this fuzzy like feeling, and again that invisible force pushing down on my body.

I continued to try to move in my dream and couldn't. Suddenly my surrounds in my dream changed from my kitchen to a map of the universe, the effects on my body were still happening at this stage. Suddenly there was this voice, and a sensation of joy. It was like someone was trying to talk to me, I am not crazy. It was like someone/something was trying to contact me in this dream. I'm not a religious person so don't believe this was a religious experience. I remember in my dreaming still not being able to move, and the sensation of the colour blue quickly surrounding the picture of the universe. The voice I mentioned before was not a human voice, but more alien like... but wasn't a language. It was more like a vibration, and the funny thing is... this vibration was making sense to me.

I was lucid in this dream, I knew I was dreaming but couldn't move and control it because of the force pushing down on me.

It was at this stage I was starting to worry, and wanting to break out of this dream. I tried to leave my dream and move my outside body and open my eyes but something wasn't letting me. Eventually after a while I built up so much strength I broke out of the dream and tried so hard I broke out of it and ended up sitting up in my bed. After waking up I didn't feel quite myself.

      -----------------

For the record I don't take any pills and haven't done any drugs illegal/legal in a long while lol.

I can think of two things this might have been.

Sometimes in LDs I experience sleep pyralisis as a crushing weight and an inability to move. Maybe you were having a similar experience that your mind chose to interpret as contact from another being.

Or maybe you really were being contacted by some other being. I've had some pretty odd/amazing experiences in my dreams, so in no way am I going to pass judgement.

Sounds like a cool dream either way.
