      I FINALLY did it!

Well, after months of trying seemingly fruitlessly to get a lucid dream, I finally did it last night. I got about five minutes of lucidity in the middle of my dream; I woke up shortly afterwards from trying too hard to control it, but still! It's a big step in the right direction.
Anyway, I was just so exhilirated I had to tell somebody... someone who would actually care, anyway.

      Hey, welcome to the lucidity!

Your dreams may be around five minutes, but it will increase, even if you don't do much. Like me, I'm not really trying my hardest but I'm still improving.

My advice to you is that patience is a good key to victory. If you start a dream journal and write down or type up your dreams everyday - Your dreams will be longer and you will get lucid more easily.

So, well done. Hope to hear you have more lucid dreams in the future.

      Awesome!
5 minutes is good for a first LD!
Watch out for a return LD.

      Keep at it CabbyHat!

Grats on your first lucid! My first was about the same length too.
