Thread: My first Lucid experience

I am new to this forum (2 posts ) but I have been around quite some time. About a month ago I started attempting LDing and I told myself that I wouldn't join any online forums unless I actually had a LD. Well last night, I think I had one. Please leave some feedback ......here we go:

Last night, I slept for about 5-6 hours then finally woke up. No dream at hand worth entering in the DJ so I decide to go back to sleep. Of course, like every other night of my life for the past month, I kept telling myself "I am going to have a Lucid Dream". Finally I dozed off to sleep.

Regular Dream
I was hanging out with some friends. We had some marijuana (I don't smoke in real life) and I was very hi. I then found myself in my college dorm room. It was very dark (just as a piece of information, I am rarely in my own dorm room, usually I am in my girlfriends room as its a lot bigger and much more comfortable). Still hi, I realized the only reason I was down there was to buy some weed from my roommate. He arrived in my room with the weed and I reached into my wallet to hand him five dollars. He then reached into my wallet for me and took out a five dollar bill. As I looked into my wallet, I noticed that some of the bills slipped out.

Side Note: you know the feeling of knowing that something is exactly what it is? Like, knowing that you have a certain amount of money in your wallet. You don't know why you know, it just is that way. Or, knowing whats behind a door. You don't know why you know, it just is that way. Any comments on this? I would love to better understand this state of mind in a dream where you just know.

Looking at the money in my wallet I realized that I had a lot more money than I should have had. I also realized I was buying weed. Confused, I looked at the bag of weed and noticed it was growing, like balls of weed. Instantly I was kind of disgusted and I let the bag go. It floated in mid air and with my mind (telekinetic powers) I rolled the bag up and stapled it to my announcement board in my room. Immediately I realized I was dreaming.

Lucid Dream
At that very moment, it was like someone had put eye drops in my eyes. Everything became so vivid. As I looked around I remember saying out loud but very very very low, "holy shit......I am dreaming.....holy shit.....this is a Lucid Dream" (exact words). From there I began to do everything with my mind. Excitement built in me every second. In my room, my closet has a curtain instead of a door. With my mind, I drew back the curtain and pulled out my shower shoes and put them on without even lifting my feet. Immediately the excitement started to overflow in my body. I remember saying to myself in my mind, "Oh my goddddd, this is so dope, this is fresh.....damn this is dope as hell" (exact words). I remember wanting to do so much. I remember intensely wanting to have sex with anyone I could think of. I remember wanting to do all the things I have read about. From there, I felt me waking up. The best way I can explain this is my room began to fade away into heavy darkness. Everything was vanishing right before my eyes. I was prepared for this. Immediately I started spinning around on my axis as fast as I could. It worked, I was back in my room. The excitement came right back (I didnt care to stop it this time). The darkness came again and I allowed it to take over. I could feel reality again and in that moment, the dream was over.

I laid awake.
