Thread: My second LD

Okay I've already introduced myself so I'd like to tell you about my lucid dream I had about a week ago. My first was when I was about 8.(I think)Where it turns into italics is when I become lucid.

I was playing some kind of game in the bush outside my house with two other guys who seemed to be my friends. (I don't know them IRL.) I started to realise this was a bit weird as the bush was not familiar and I didn't know these guys. I did a nose reality check and it fails! Yes, I'm lucid! I kept playing because I wasn't fully lucid at the time. But I eventually realised I could do anything so I closed my eyes and tried to fly. I could fly, but not very fast and only in short bursts and it was more floating really. But me and my two friends had a sudden idea to set off and find a car we could drive somewhere with. We found one eventually (can't remember what type of car it was) so we drove it around through the bush. Eventually we dumped the car and started to walk up this track for no reason. I attempted to fly again but once again I could only float in short bursts. Right now I'm thinking well this isn't very fun. So I try to find a better way to fly. I suddenly have an idea and shout:
'I can fly!' I suddenly find myself on a flaming blue broomstick. I zoom around for a bit but not too far as I don't want to abandon my friends. But the scene fades and I find myself in my house. I walk out of my house and read some text on a table outside. It's moving and swirling around and looks like it's been written by a child. I walk over to my mum and tell her she's a DC but she simply replies:
'Good on you honey.' Next I tell her about the text and she says:
'That's interesting.' She's being boring so I attempt to fly out of there with my broomstick through the ceiling.
I shout, 'I can fly,' again and I'm sitting on the broomstick calmly now. I zoom up and I go straight through the ceiling but get stuck halfway through. I jump down somehow and now I attempt to walk through a wall into my room. I fail and I just keep running into the wall. My DC Mum comes up behind me and says:
'Why don't you just go into your room and pretend to read a book honey and indicates the door to my room. (Stupid smart ass subconscious.) I walk into my room. It's kind of different than IRL but I think it's normal at the time. My two friends were sitting in there watching TV. I sit down with my friends but before I notice what's on my Mum bursts into my room and says excitedly:
'There's a cake in the car!' This triggers a scene switch to a third person view of the car. My Mum and one of my friends are sitting in there casually talking and eating cake. I don't know where my other friend is. Either my mum or my friend says:
'Weird ( I assume weird is the other friends name) never does this any more,' as if eating cake in a car is a favourite past-time of theirs. I try to go down to talk to them and get some cake but the dream fades and I wake up.
