      Making object come alive

Just a quick question I tried in three LDs I had this morning to bring an object to life, but I couldn't do it.

Is there any tips you can give me to try in the future? I would really like to try this as I have an idea in my head to ask my pen if it is truly mightier then the sword when I bring it to life lol.

Thanks for reading and the help.

I've been trying to think of a plan myself, other than just pointing at something and screaming, "LIIIVEEEE" all Frankenstein-esque. That probably won't work for me if my LD is too realistic. Maybe you could grab a pen and draw a face on the object? Or throw it into the air and see if it will fly away...

Do the whole Frankenstein mad scientist lab thing and hook some inanimate object up to some massive contraption to bring it to life.

Make sure to have Igor with you too. It wouldn't be the same without an Igor as your lab assistant.

LMAO Mes! One of the few times, I brought something to life, I actually held it in may hands and commanded "LIVE".

You could also try "breathing" on it.. to "breathe life" into the object.

The most important thing to remember is that there is no "try" when you're lucid.. only "do". You must KNOW that there is nothing you can't have nor perform while in your dream.

I'm going to try and do what Mickey Mouse did to the broom, use magic from my hands.

I think I shall try this for a bit of fun and see what happens. I also like what Clairity said about picking it up and tring to breath life into the object.

I have thought about the Mickey Mouse thing, but I do not have that much congering control in my dreams to try that one just yet.

Thanks for the ideas to try out next time I am lucid and remember to do this.
