Thread: My first real lucid dream

Last night I had my first full lucid dream. I'm pretty sure I initiated the dream by munipulating those colored patterns that you see when you close your eyes, until I fell asleep. Most of the unlucid part of my dream was just some boring crap where I was just riding on a bus around some neighborhoods. Anyway, for some reason I ditched the bus and started riding a bike. While I was going down this hill towards the beach, I all of the sudden realized that I was dreaming. I the color manipulation was helped by the MILD techniques I was practicing while awake. Anyway, I didn't get excited (which woke me up instantly from my first partial lucid dream) and decided to ride the bike down to the beach. After ditching the bike I walked over to this guy who was taking pictures of something. After I walked closer, I saw he was doing a model shoot, and his model (a African American female) was doing various poses. This wasn't really what I wanted to do, but I was happy (If I had more dream control, I probably would have gone into the city and explored from there). I watched this for a while until the bus I was on in the beginning of my dream arrived at the beach area. At that point I felt myself losing lucidity and panicked. I finally lost lucidity and got back on the bus. The rest of my dream was a non-lucid bore-fest (i'm suprised i didn't fall asleep in my dream!)
