      Lucid dreams getting longer

regular dream: I was going into a medical type building (tall and wide). It felt futuristic. A receptionist type lady led me into an open room that had a dentist type chair. She sat me down and left to get somthing. I started feeling weird: I felt like she was going to come back and force me to take a pill. (still regular dream here) I looked around (feeling scared) and then I noticed two other lady workers. They were quite a distance from me and were busy at their desks. Everything seemed normal until I noticed they were mermaids! Weird.

Lucid: I said to myself that this is extremely weird and it can't be real. Then I said "This is a dream" then POW it hit me. I jumped up and started running. I could feel myself fading so I would demand clarity from myself by verbally asking "Clarity now!" while making a gesture with my hands as if I were pounding a table (minus the table). And everytime I did this the my entire surroundings would shake and boom (like in Jurassic Park when the T trex is coming). I did this quite a few times while I was running around then I stopped at a bathroom door and performed a reality check on the sign. I said "If this is a dream I can look at the sign, look away, and look back and the sign should change" RC failed and I verfied my dream state. A little kid was by me (when i did this RC) a he seemed scared of me, I was too excited so I kept running, this time out of the building. I got outside and I said to myself I should have powers in my lucid dreams - so it was time to test them out. Outside there were cars going up and down the street. I decided to use my "telekinetic powers" and stop one of the cars. It did although the car looked dreamy and fuzzy. I tried flying next but I couldn't. I ran and tilted my head back and the tilting my head back seemed to have woken me up.
P.S. I remember looking at my hands while running and saying to myself this looks so real!!

      Woke up in bed amazed.

      Two nights ago:

      regular dream:
my perspective was that as if you were driving on the freeway. Everyone going fast, lots of cars in front of me.

      lucid:
I looked down and instead of seeing my floor mats I saw the road whizzing under my feet! I was on the freeway travelling with other cars but I wasn't in a car. I said this must be a dream. I transitioned from a sitting position (I was sitting on nothing) to a superman position so now I was flying, it was awesome but it proved too exciting, as soon as I started to drift upwards my excitement woke me up.

      observations:
I tend to stay lucid longer if I enter lucidity when I am doing something "normal" or something plausible in the real world. but if I enter lucidity doing something crazy or not possible in the waking world I tend to wake up right after becoming lucid (probably because I am too amazed of doing something improbable in the waking world).

I am just happy that my frequency of LDing is increasing. Everyone- get into the habit of doing RCs all the time
