      The LD Internet

Here's something I want to try sometime. Surfing the lucid dream internet and seeing what's on there.

Mainly, I'd like to check out familiar websites and see what they look like in dreams.

Ever do this yourself? If true, how was it?

I wonder how screwed up newgrounds would be in my dreams...

"What are you, a gangster? Get in that pool!"-Random DC of mine... don't ask.

Sort of. Here is the excerpt from my dream journal. By the way, in this dream I was lucid, but not lucid enough to realize that my friend Stephen wasn't a DC (I believed that he was the real Stephen and that we were lucid dreaming together).
      5/13/08
I walk up to Stephen and pitch my idea to him.
"Stephen, we've been lucid for so long now, I hope you don't mind if we just finish this off by getting laid now."
He agrees, but then walks into the dining room and sits down at a laptop that was set up on the table and begins apparently surfing the web. I ask him what he's doing and he says that he is looking for girls. I look on the screen and see that everything is written in some strange language that I have never seen before. I guess it was some kind of dating site? Anyway, I walk away and try a few times to summon this girl that I used to know, but fail...

My internet was full of ink blotches and oil spills. I think it's because I am aware of the fact that one reads a lot of one's own feelings into others' posts, and hence the ink blots. They probably turned into a toxic, viscous substance like oil since, well, that's the internet for you.

I love when my dreams make too much sense

I will have to remember to give that a try, it should be very interesting to see hoe it works.

This is an interesting question. I've done this many times. Surf the web for a song, or a movie, or try to find the answer to a question...

I do this often actually. (to give my Back ground I LD usually every morning for an hour or 2. sometimes these dreams are broken up into small dreams, but when I'm lucid I can stay in the dream (without waking up my bodY) for 2 hours.)
      anyway...my experience with it.

I like to 'tap' a wall, or anything really, as if the world is my personal touchscreen wireless internet. its funny - i even move the image to other walls, or project it onto a HUGE wall. You can speak to it verbally ( i find this is the best way). Written words and typing words are so hard to keep stable.

Thanks to this Forum Question, I've realized a new way to find answers...try to see it as a movie - hopefully you won't have to interpret it, hopefully it'll be straight forward, but in the dreamworld, maybe not.

But with this technique, be creative. Take your projected image, put it on a huge wall, change the picture to a different world, and JUMP IN.

      Just be creative.
