      Scariest FA ever

It started after I tried to wake myself up from a lucid nightmare, I remember being in the dream and trying to pry my eyes open.

With a jolt I woke up (or so I thought) and looked around me to verify that I was awake; on top of this I also did the "poke your finger through your hand" reality check. My finger didn't penetrate my hand or anything so I concluded that I was definitely awake.

So with a relieved sigh I clapped my hands together, except they passed right through each other so my arms just looked like two demented 'L's welded together at the wrists . I freaked out a little because of the whole I'm not dreaming thing and screamed as I tried to pull my arms apart.

In all of my years of dreams and nightmares, this FA which wasn't even a nightmare, has been the scariest so far.
When I was in high school I was very ambitious, I wanted to be the Class President but I missed out by only about 3 votes.

So they made me the Class Secretary of Defence.

I wonder if you were so sure that the RC was gonna fail so your finger just listened to your doubts. Must be freaky when reality and dreams blend and reality checks fail. Madness I say, madness. (Hope you're alright now)
Maybe, just for a second, you'll be awestruck.
      ...do you feel it to?

I've scared myself in FAs once before.

One time, I think I might have did some kind of WILD, not really sure, but I remember getting up in my bed. I pulled the blinds out of the window to look out it and there was this zombie-type man with black eyes looking at me. Kind of like something I read about a while ago.

The whole thing was probably about 5 seconds. I woke up rather frightened, but not very shaken, and just went back to sleep.

My FAs usually have bugs/spiders crawling on me. Actually, now that I think of it, a few months back I had one where my teeth were falling out. That shit scares me.

Dreams where your body gets messed up are bad in general. It's certainly worse when you think it's real, but even when I know it was a dream, I'll be freaked out by it. I had a dream not so long ago where I lost my teeth. I think it took me a day to get over the fact that my teeth were still there. But the point is you get over it always.

Yeah, I got over it pretty fast, like as soon as I woke up for real I was fine but just at the time I was freakin out cause I thought it was real. And yeah it was probably because I doubted that I was dreaming that the RC didn't work.

OH MY GOD READING YOUR POST REMINDED ME OF SOMETHING!! I was at my grandmas house a few years ago and she lives in this little apartment. So I have to sleep on the floor and WATEVERR. Anyways so I woke up in the middle of the night and I was really thirsty so I got up to get some water. After I got my glass of water I turned around and my grandma was stumbling towards me and her skin was peeling off her face and she was rotting and grinning at me and I screamed and woke myself up. It was so terrifieing I almost cried. Well thanks for reminding me of that.

My very favorite lucid dream, yes the one in my signature, ended with a false awakening which scared the holy heck out of me. I was so proud and happy of what I'd accomplished, and in my FA I came online to post it here, which I would do for real only a few minutes later. Incidentally I had apparently developed the ability to light fires with my mind, which in my FA I attributed to somehow breaking myself and the world by lucid dreaming. Which I laugh at now, but in that moment of falsely awakened belief, it was SCARY.
